Is this the most honest apology you’ve ever seen?

An Ipswich player, can’t remember his name, punched an ASFC player and Andy Holt (Burnley born and bred) called him out on Twitter. He called him a sh**house or something similar. The Ipswich player then got a 4 match ban.

Must have been something in the air last weekend, Chesterfield 's manager has been suspended following his comments made during the game.

The clip I was sent show him threatening to bite someone's nose off during their game on Saturday

He had a right to be annoyed. The Ipswich player should have got a straight red but didn’t and was then involved in the winning goal for Ipswich.

I heard Radio Lancashire discussing this earlier this week. It seems the incident was missed by the ref and both linesmen, however the incident happened right in front of the 4th official who it seems didn't bring it to the referee's attention.

Radio Lancashire reporter said the Ipswich player involved had previous history for similar incidents when playing for another club.

It seems tv cameras did pick up the incident and the Ipswich player has now been banned.

Morsy the player in question has been given a four game ban for an off-the-ball incident caught on camera but the ref missed.

Note the completely unapologetic response of the Ipswich Chief Executive.

Always seems like a top guy, Andy Holt. Very interesting stuff on his Twitter in the past, about running a club at that level.

Andy is a very shrewd and talented sucessful business man..Having had business dealings in the past with Andy I can confirm he is a very down to earth local lad and does not mince his words.

This seems an odd thing to say "As a Chairman of a football club (that I don't want to be)"

What does he mean?

Imagine this place if the Leeds or Liverpool chairman said that about one of our players.

He invested money (maybe in sponsorship) to the club when it was in big trouble under the previous owner.
I think he got dragged into helping more and more until he ended up running it and the previous owner disappeared.
He soon realised football is a crazy loss making business where very clever businessmen do stupid things, that they wouldn't allow in their day business.

I've never heard a chairman or manager call any of our players sh*thouses. I remember Mourinho having a go at Barnes and managers like Klopp criticising the way we play and it sent a fair few people in to meltdown on here.

If a Chairman has publicly come out and said that about Barnes or any other of our players then I may be mistaken so please point me to the comments
