Re: Infantino!!
In a nutshell...and I am paraphrasing slightly....one of his arguments for having a World Cup every 2 years was so that it would stop Africans trying to cross the Med to see the best professional footballers only once every 4 years!

Re: Infantino!!
there is so much about Infantino that the average fan is not aware of - a lot was covered on the MMT but there are always new revelations coming out - my favourite is that he has effectively moved FIFA headquarters to Qatar where he lives, not because the Swiss Authorities have multiple investigations ongoing into FIFA and it's leadership - Qatar have provided him with a private jet for the last 3 years and fund all it's costs - he does hundreds of flights a year in it - the story is they are looking forward to the deal ending after the world cup.
There is also the fact that he has absolute control over CAF - The Confederation of African Football

2 yr World Cups absolutely not
Our leagues are already decimated by international fixtures and our stupid winter break without more disruption
Sky are leading this agenda with their eyes on more subscribers.

This is Infantino's pet project pure and simple and it has been rejected out of hand!

Re: Infantino!!
This man is the epitome of the phrase 'careful what you wish for'.
I always thought Sepp Blatter was on a mission to destroy football as I had known and loved it. I may not be the stage of "come back Sepp all is forgiven" just yet, but having been delighted at Blatters demise I can't say the game has improved since, quite the contrary.

Re: Infantino!!
Essentially we've managed to tolerate Havelange, Blatter and now Infantino
The cash cow that is FIFA is sadly being absolutely robbed blind by people who should be in jail
