Seems like they are linked with every player available which may just be lazy journalism. Obviously they can’t sign everyone and rightly other clubs are holding them to ransom. If they sign too many could it upset the apple cart as there are going to be a lot of displaced players on the bench ? Might this actually put players off signing despite the cash ? I know some players prefer cash over game time ( Drinkwater maybe ?) but think most want to play.

I live up here and there is speculation around every corner. The funniest yet is the Bruno signing, Mates of mine were plastering it all over FB and all of a sudden it might not happen AFTER the club have announced it.

I think they would be lucky to bring 2 or 3 more players in. However, my major concern is not them (even though my stepfamily are all Newcastle fans) it is our state of play.

Hopefully - it's becoming tedious already. I was speaking with a workmate the other day who is keen for them to fail. Ironically he's quite a big City fan...

How do the people of Portugal feel when a Portuguese player is linked with Wolves?

Hopefully some of the bigger clubs will see Newcastle as a real threat next season to their European ambitions and will want them down this season, who knows some of these teams might go easy.on us
