Yes, it's great - totally recommend it.

If you go on a nice day you can see outside and there is a really good wine shop next door.

They have a place around the corner, which is similar but more meals less tapas.

I can’t I’m afraid, but this weekend just gone I ate at Owens which was lovely. Belly pork starter, lamb shank main. Beautiful.

I live in Manchester and go to the place they have at 'Escape to freight island' and its always superb.

I hadn't been to their place in Rawtenstall until Mothers Day just gone, that was also superb and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Love Levanter it’s really good. Go there for lunch quite regularly.

They're running the same menu from both at the moment - really excellent food. The Freight Island outpost is a cracker too. Top people who run it. And as someone else mentioned, the Vineyard is next to Lecanter in Rammy, superb wine shop.

Cheers all. Sounds like it's worth a visit. Looks to be a few decent pubs in Ramsbottom too.

Whilst I'm here, any recommendations for decent restaurants for lunch in Rawtenstall?

There is a couple of Deli's at the Newchurch Rd end of Bank Street, which are ok for a Deli type lunch. The Eagle and Child in Shuttleworth has been good when I've been.

The Cotton House in Helmshore is good for a decent local Pint (Irwell Brewery) and a pub lunch (if its open).
