As others have said, if we continue to win, we'll be fine. No matter what others do ;)

Of the 5 teams that started the weekend directly above us, 4 have won. And Brentford play tomorrow.

I still think its more important to avoid defeat than go for the win tomorrow though

Definitely is a must win, keeps the pressure on Everton then.

Attack is the best form of defence, and with all due respect it's Norwich we're playing tomorrow not Man City, so let's impose our style on them, and bag 3 vital points.

Win tomorrow and then even a point at West Ham will see us climb above Everton before they face Leicester, and really ramp up the pressure on them for the run-in.

Avoiding defeat is the surefire way to lose.

Norwich is one of the games we have to win.

Everton are in direct competition qith us, and I saw that as a must win game. Without that win we'd have a lot to claw back. The Norwich game isn't really a 6 pointer as I can't see them catching us. A point could be useful

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying play for a draw. But if it's 0-0 with 5 to play I'm suggesting we shouldn’t throw Barnes, Vydra and McNeil on and risk losing a point

I agree and on paper this is one of our easier fixtures, we certainly aren't good enough at the back to play to nick a 1-0, so I say let's get at them for the 1st whistle, and if we can win tomorrow that effectively takes Norwich out of the equation, and gives Watford a fair bit of ground to make up with little time to do it.

Lose, and I doubt if we'll recover.
It'd be a disaster.

As SD would say it is a mentality thing.

Win today and Norwich and Watford slip away.

Just think how many people on here were saying Everton was a not lose match.
If we had drawn Everton would now be almost out of reach.

Of course saying it’s a must win match doesn’t mean we will win it but that needs to be our goal.
If we want to survive this is a match we need to win.

If we lose or draw it’s obviously not over but it means the next game becomes a must win.

Indeed as Jay has pointed out they are all must win matches now.

There may of course come a time if we start to win a few that a draw becomes a winner but looking at the table it’s difficult to see that unless it’s the last match of the season.

Better to be brave and lose than not to go for victory.

You may qualify for Dyche's assistant manager with an attitude like that..

We have momentum with all the fans on side. If we don't win the fans will split again.

As I said, I'm not saying play for a draw, we should set up to win. But a defeat would be disastrous. A draw keeps us in the mix. But if it's 0-0 towards the end, we don't have to go out all guns blazing. I don't see it as an absolute MUST win. Having said that, if someone offered me the draw right now. I'd probably turn it down as I think we have more than enough to see them off

We don't have the time or skill to be playing snookers.

It is 100% I said yonks ago every game is simply a must win whilst some people were arguing the toss that a point here & there is sufficient, in our precarious position the objective needs to be 3 anything less just alleviates pressure from the Everton perspective.

You're right.
In fact, I don't think we ever had a plan A.
