Blimey! are things looking that bad, I've been impressed with how MJ has responded to the challenge in the short term, but with all due respect I'm not sure I'd want him getting the role on a full time basis, surely even as a Championship club we can attract suitors, or are they rightly scared away by the prospect of us losing a lot of 1st teamers and having little to work with.

It doesn't inspire confidence for any promotion challenge next season does it, and we really can ill afford a lengthy spell in the Championship.

I guess Vincent Kompany has now gone the same way as our £100m Chinese investor.

I'd rather get a big name with a boat load of contacts who can bring attract some loanees from the likes of City etc. We need someone who knows the markets and not someone like MJ as well as I think he's done

Must have seemed a good idea playing an in form centre half at right back and then your right back at right wing. Baffling and set the tone for yet another inept home performance.

Our worst performance under Jackson. It's taken its toll on everybody and there was an inevitability about the outcome. Mistakes prior to today have cost us but I think it to be imperative that a new manager is named very soon.

As for the rest of the team, it was huff and puff in central mid and nobody clinical enough up front

But, at least he realised it was wrong at HT and changed things - Dyche would have waited till 80+ mins

Going to be tough to "sell" BFC to any decent manager now

He was the players initial choice.

I think he will stay where he is if their takeover goes through, he seems attached to their cause.

Think he'd be alright tbh. It's a gamble isn't it. But he knows the league now and will attract decent players. Dunno.

He's done really well to get us back into contention, but we looked all over the place today and a lot of that is down to the formation played and the players picked

We've managed one point from our last four as well, which is why we've been relegated

I await to see who the board have got in mind but he needs to be in asap as we need to rebuild and I'm guessing we need to be absolutely in the queue for all those out of contract players who are maybe too good for the championship but perhaps not good enough for the prem

Daniel Farke would do for me.

Now we know what division we're in, there can be no ******* about. Get him in and let's get cracking with the rebuild.

We'll have quite a bit, even if we pay the loan back, player sales and parachute payments will see to that, plus wage reductions

What is it, 10 players out of contract? 65 million due in loan repayments which means anyone half decent will have to be sold.

Big job for anyone who comes in.

Doesn't need to be a difficult job if we get the right guy in.

Nobody has any money in the Championship but a lot of teams don't let them stop them from spending loads anyway

In the Championship with no money and massive debt, I’d be fairly happy to see Barton back at Turf Moor.

Barton is an absolute no no.

The best manager to get us back up is Sean Dyche. He knows his stuff and we were brilliant in the Championship.

You're right of course and we go downbecasue of how we perform over a season but in our last 7 games after West Ham we had 3 home games against "on the beach" sides with nowt to play for, a home game against a side with outside chance of Europe, an awy game against a top 4 side, an away game against a relegation rival and an away game against an "on the beach side. Losing our last 2 home games against sides who had nothing other than pride to play for dumped us in the end.

I think Lancaster's point was that we only managed one draw and three defeats in the last four games; this has ultimately relegated us.
