Alan Pace's Claret and Blue Army
No. I've never heard it either! But "Sean Dyche's Claret & Blue Army" has rung out loud and proud around all grounds in which we've played under Sean Dyche's tenure.
What a crass, stupid, ill-timed and ludicrous decision. Those are just a few words used by my friends (Supporters of other teams) since Pace's bombshell yesterday.
Sean. You are a Clarets Legend. Thank you for staying loyal to us Clarets, showing true reliability and trust - traits that are sadly lacking in the modern game (And in Society at large).
The players must be gutted, as must you Sean. I haven't felt nearly this bad since Judas did the dirty on us, and even then, it didn't come close.
You'll be remembered Alan Pace, but not in a way that you can be proud of
Alan Pace. Do the honourable thing. JUST DO ONE !

Did this really need its own thread?

If Alan pace appoints a replacement who goes on to keep us up, I fully expect you to come on here and apologise

Minute's applause on 23 minutes against Southampton is more likely.

Poor little Burnley, you will never get anyone to manage you like Sean Dyche, you should feel lucky he stayed with you (although he never got job offers). None of them fans would want Dyche in charge of their club
Also Loyal? He would have walked given a better opportunity, he tried several times to engineer a move away but no one wanted him, because the football he plays is boring

Ever single Burnley fan will want that to happen, but I’d suggest it’s highly unlikely.gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 1:31 pmIf Alan pace appoints a replacement who goes on to keep us up, I fully expect you to come on here and apologise

I will be delighted to apologize to Pace if sacking Dyche keeps us up. However if it doesn’t I will expect him to eff off back to America ( no doubt leaving us in severe financial trouble )

I think it would be great to get this chant ringing out loud all around the ground tomorrow to show Mr Pace that we are 100% behind him and his football club

Re: Alan Pace's Claret and Blue Army
Several times over recent seasons I've read that Dyche has sought to move on from us.
I don't actually recall ever seeing any clear evidence of this though.
Is this stuff mere speculation and surmise, or is there clear evidence? Beyond his reluctance to rule himself out of a few Sit-vacs I don't remember anything clear-cut

Re: Alan Pace's Claret and Blue Army
Why? We were going down WITH dyche, so would you have wanted pace gone then?
Remember when BK made the MASSIVE decision NOT to renew Stans contract? That was massive. And it wasn’t the absolute disaster some made it out to be.
This could actually work out well…. If we get the right appointment, but judging the decision on us being relegated, when we were heading that way anyway just seems a little naive. Klopp couldn’t keep these up, so chuntering about being relegated and blaming pace for it is just silly.
It’s a bad decision, and it’s bad timing, but it’s done now. Relegation this season won’t be because of this decision and that’s a fact.

Some of the most astonishing straw-manning and revisionism I've ever seen on this board. Well done.Cleveleys_claret wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 2:26 pmPoor little Burnley, you will never get anyone to manage you like Sean Dyche, you should feel lucky he stayed with you (although he never got job offers). Some of the comments on this forum about the owners nationality and religion over the last 24 hours are disgusting.
Can only imagine how **** off back to Africa would’ve been viewed from the outside if the Egyptians had taken over, Pace is American though so apparently that’s ok and not racist.
