Interesting stat vs Wolves
Just seen the below in the paper:
In the last 11 league meetings between Wolves and Burnley, we have won 5 and drawn 5. This stat really surprised me to be honest, we must be there bogey team.
Let’s hope we make it another win tomorrow.

Re: Interesting stat vs Wolves
That run started with Sean Dyche's first game in charge of Burnley. The one defeat was at Molineux in 2018/19 when they murdered us and should have won more easily than 1-0.

I assume that this must be one of the best record Dyche has against any club? Nearly 2 points per game on averageClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 8:50 pmThat run started with Sean Dyche's first game in charge of Burnley. those stats are just recent
Our results against Wolves are not that great over the years
won 40 drawn 30 lost 66

Didn't we go years without getting even a point off them? They were our bogie team. One match we battered them and still lost 1.0 with their only shot. Wolves fans on the radio said they wanted to barricade the goal it was so one sided.

I knew we'd enjoyed recent success against them, but I never we'd fared so well.
We should definitely respect Wolves, but we shouldn't fear them given the recent results we've achieved.

That's a very recent stat - I think I'm right in saying that for years, they were very much one of OUR bogey teams. As CT says, that 1-0 defeat in the 2018/19 season flattered us a lot!
