If you’d told me 20 years ago that Michael Jackson would be an unbeaten in 3 Burnley manager I’d have laughed my head off. Couldn’t stand him at PKE

He's certainly giving us a Thriller.
Oh, come on someone had to say it.

The lads can wake up in the morning and brush their teeth knowing that the Man in the Mirror looking back at them gave it their all today.
Re: Michael Jackson’s claret and blue army!
It's his job now until the end of the season. Pleased for him. Don't underestimate the influence of Ben Mee however. He can stay on the sidelines until the end of the season

Atmosphere was great today and the Cricket Field supporters certainly made themselves heard, unlike the dreadful tannoy system.
Seriously, what use is it?

Keep just asking him to take the next game. One at a time.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

He comes across very well in interviews, makes desicions in the game when they need to be made, looks and sounds like a premier league manager......what's not to like. Keep it going Jacko.

Re: Michael Jackson’s claret and blue army!
One game at a time, and if we stay up, he doesn't get it whatever we have done
Re: Michael Jackson’s claret and blue army!
Whatever happens, I hope we can keep him on in some capacity next season when the new manager inevitably brings their own team in.
He’s earned it and is obviously well respected by the players.

If we stay up, probably means Everton get relegated
I would give MJ the job, as it will have been a miracle. Make Ben player /assistant manager, buy Michael Keane and rejuvenate his career, and get him alongside Collins, then see if Steven Defour would join us as the other coach

Re: Michael Jackson’s claret and blue army!
When you consider an era ending so abruptly, the sheer size of the coaching overhaul, the sheer size of the squad rebuild we're looking at, the form we were in culminating in the inept Norwich performance, the "depth" of the squad, the general pessimism (include myself in that), the position we were in before he took charge, the nervousness about our finances, the timing in the sacking...
...the quality of the three teams we've played this week, the freedom we're playing with, the effort, the style, the tactics, the chances we're creating, the aggression, the goals being shared around, the desire to properly use the squad, the intelligence of the substitutions, the clean sheets, the points haul, the unity, the hope...
...I think he may have given us the single best week being a Burnley fan we've had since the European qualification season. Would be madness to interrupt this just now. Looks as though two wins and a draw will do it. He'll go down in folk-lore if we pull this off. Unbelievable week.

Re: Michael Jackson’s claret and blue army!
Has got everything right.
Team selection, tactics, substitutions and interviews.
Not an easy ask. It could have all gone horribly wrong but he has quite obviously got all the players on board.

I think he is doing a great job.
However, he has to go so I don’t have to put up with any more mind numbing uses of song titles.
They are not remotely funny and even less original.

Coming across as a decent bloke and getting the results, can’t grumble!
It’s also great to see the experienced players on the bench through the game, Hennessy and Bardsley mainly, thoroughly involved and showing passion/knowledge to all around them.
Keep it going lads! One game at a time.

If you don't want Jackson, who do you want? Ben? Who else would be The Man? Don't Feel Threatened. We're Almost There. All we need do is Shout, Scream, Smile. Whatever Happens, Will You Be There?CaptainKirk wrote: ↑Sun Apr 24, 2022 7:40 pmI think he is doing a great job.
