Palace v Leeds
A big game tonight, a Palace win coupled with us beating Watford at the weekend would have us above Leeds before they play City in the late kick off on Saturday. Leeds goal difference is a lot worst from ours, so a scrappy 1-0 win for Palace, a couple of reds for Leeds and a few hamstring injuries would be nice though.

I really think that Leeds are deep in the doo doo. Palace SHOULD win tonight, but you never know, but their next 3 then is City, Chelsea, Arsenal. I would LOVE IT, LOVE IT, if they went down. Don’t really mind Everton, but Leeds down? YEAH!!!

PNE can hammer a dirty great big nail into the coffin of Rovers playoff hopes. If Venkys lose, that's pretty much it for them.

Re: Palace v Leeds
Be brilliant if Everton and Leeds both in London on last day fighting (knowing Leeds fans, probably actually fighting) for survival, the Toffees at Arsenil and Dirty Leeds at Brentford.Claretitus wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 6:52 pmI really think that Leeds are deep in the doo doo. So with us sitting pretty in safety it would make for a great Sunday Afternoon on the 22nd of May

Re: Palace v Leeds
Spent few hours awake last night.
Thought a draw tonight would be good.
At first I thought Villa losing to Norwich was a good thing, but in a few hours of thought I changed my mind to I think a Villa win is best. They are then on 40 points and on the beach.
So we then play them twice and they might not try so hard.

Massive games. Every game at this point is big, but I get the feeling how us, Leeds and Everton do against the mid-table sides will decide it

Squeaky bum time for the Leeds contingent on here. My only concern is Palace will have 1 foot on the beach.

After our wins and given DL's next few matches, a defeat to night would be brilliant. But Palace are so unpredictable.
Re: Palace v Leeds
Almost a must win for DL.
Re: Palace v Leeds
Palace are a bit like Southampton in that they are capable of beating anyone, but also capable of losing to anyone.

Re: Palace v Leeds
Whilst no fan of DL they have been very unlucky to lose the spine of their side, Cooper, Phillips & Bamford, for virtually the whole season.
I don’t class late goals as lucky but congratulate the scorers for going for it but they have had their fair share of luck. Got a late equaliser against CP, at home when CP had missed enough sitters to have won with a cricket score. They beat Norwich with an injury time goal, when effing Gibson headed a ball up in the air that was comfortably going through to Krul. The biggest slice of luck they had was Jiminez shocking red card after Meslier kicked him. 2-0 down they went on to beat Wolves, 2-3.
Come on Palace

Re: Palace v Leeds
Lack of quality made up for by aggro. Dirty Leeds up to their usual tricks in front of a crap ref. Zaha more interested in pulling off a convincing dive than a decent shot.
