Today's footy 30/4

Post by tiger76 » Sat Apr 30, 2022 11:44 am

The last day of April, and it's getting to squeaky bum time now.

Newcastle-Liverpool the early KO, Pool can go top with victory, but Toon might well cause them problems on recent form.

Salah on the bench.

All the League 1 fixtures also KO at 12-30, and plenty to still decide in that division.

Sheff Wed and Wycombe in the hunt for PO places, and Morecambe trying to stave off an instant return to League 2.

Massive day. And a belting day of snooker in the background too

I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a snooker tournament as much as this World Championship- and I watch a lot of snooker!

As for the football, big win for Burnley and a thrashing for Leeds, please. Rovers having their pie in the sky play-off dreams decidedly crushed would be a nice bonus.

Rotherham Gillingham is a belter on Sky, Rotherham win and they go up automatically, Gillingham lose and they're relegated.

MK 3-0 up at Plymouth and now Plymouth down to 10 men due to extremely weak refereeing and being convinced by MK players to show 2nd yellow.

That was quite funny. Not only offside but his first touch bounced into next week.

He shouldnt have been offside that first one.
He missed the 1 on one with the keeper anyway.

Good result for us as it keeps Man City totally focused on tonight's game as it's a must win for them.

Liverpool win 0-1. That should spur City on against Leeds, should they need it.
