A terrible result for us, but we just need to concentrate on Villa now and make sure we keep putting the pressure on.

I know we are bias but Chelsea were not interested at all today. Walking pace no urgency. That James had a stinker of a game.

Not what we need. Terrible result.

Last 2 games Everton look like they have some fight about them. We are going to have to do the business ourselves.

People need to calm down.

We carry on as we are and this is an irrelevance, it was always on us to get the points needed.

Leeds should be the most concerned at this result considering they have Arsenal away up next (followed by Chelsea at home, but on this evidence, that could be any result I suppose).

Awful result, but kind of expected it. Thank god we turned it around yesterday, but for me Leeds are the ones now. Everton have some very winnable home games coming up

Some ridiculous comments on here. Everton are fighting for their lives, were people really expecting an inconsistent Chelsea to just roll them over?

every time Pickford laid on the ball (his signature position)
One of Everton defenders delayed further by pushing him into the turf!

Leeds will be very very nervy now. They were out of it not long ago, now look potential favourites to drop given their games. Injury to Dallas too who’s a key player.

We shouldn't care about Everton, can't influence their performances or results. Focus on ourselves and the next game.

We just have to keep winning. That is all we can do. Everton are staying up. They have the fight as we saw today and they are playing teams who are on the beach. Our only hope is Leeds keep losing or we get enough points to drag Southampton into it. We just have to keep winning. 3 wins maybe still needed at this rate.

We can't rely on anyone else, we have to take it one game at a time and we have to get some more results

Everton were very limited, but did what they had to do

But if every team with not much to play for turns in a performance like that, then someone is going to get relegated with 40 points or more

As others have said, disappointing but not unexpected.
It was always up to us, to do it for ourselves. Nothing has changed.
Chelsea just typical Chelsea.

I hope people have stopped being wessex by the time we play Villa. Jesus this thread is embarrassing.

We do exactly what Everton did today.

Let's hope our fans are as up for it on Saturday.

If it goes down to the wire and it possible could do, I feel it will be between us and Leeds who have a tough run in

Everton will get away wins at Watford ,Leicester and pick up points from their remaining home games

Our goal average could keep us up

Everton will face a Leicester who like Chelsea will also be tired from Europe with their league season fairly wrapped up.
Watford away, look what we did to them.
Brentford at Goodison, the Bee's will likely have buckets and spades out by then.

People saying yesterday they wouldn't win again were deluded.
