Spurs tickets - are you sitting or standing?
It's our first away game this Sunday where there are safe standing areas.
I'm told from supporters of clubs who have played there that it is now strictly enforced, allowing the sitters to sit and the standers to stand.
Can I ask, if you are going.
1. Were you given the option when ordering your tickets?
2. Have you checked your ticket(s) to see which section you are in?
I've just checked mine and found I'm in the Safe Standing Section.

It's my role within BFC SG & FSA to be aware of this but I'd clean forgotten about it until getting an email from a Leicester rep who said it had gone really well for them last week with the seating area strictly adhere to.

surely ‘standing’ should be cheaper than ‘sitting’ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 11:35 amIt's my role within BFC SG & FSA to be aware of this but I'd clean forgotten about it until getting an email from a Leicester rep who said it had gone really well for them last week with the seating area strictly adhere to.

Re: Spurs tickets - are you sitting or standing?
Stamford Bridge had safe standing seats in use when we played there 6th November. I know they weren't officially being trialled until January. Safe standing at Chelsea was good.
I'm missing the Spurs game, I'll be watching in Majorca. I know someone who has a ticket and is in the safe standing. I don't think it was mentioned when he bought his ticket.

Safe standing gives you both a seat to sit on and the choice to stand if you wish. I hope you aren't suggesting safe standing, on this basis, should be charged more than sitting?claretblue wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 12:28 pmsurely ‘standing’ should be cheaper than ‘sitting’

Noticed this when ticket was delivered, didn't really think too much about it as everyone was 'safely standing' last time I went there. I'm in the safe standing section and wasn't given the option.

Standing, no option on booking.
Not ideal as taking my youngest and he can’t see in standing areas but will work it out when I get there.

Re: Spurs tickets - are you sitting or standing?
We are not used to it but it’s going to extend next season beyond the six clubs already running these trials. But for the life of me I can’t see why our club haven’t offered it.
Re: Spurs tickets - are you sitting or standing?
Tony - As we only appear to have seats in 3 blocks (116, 117 and 118) and they are sold out, moving may not be an option.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 1:29 pmIf you need to go into a seating area, speak to one of the stewards. The Spurs stewards are usually excellent.

Re: Spurs tickets - are you sitting or standing?
They allocate the front of each of the blocks for seating and those behind for standing. They have been able to move people around at previous games and told they will facilitate that if possible.

It sounds like everyone has been given "Safe Standing Section"
Could it be that this is automatically given and you can move down into the seating section if you so wish?

Re: Spurs tickets - are you sitting or standing?
I know that all tickets have an allocated seat regardless of in standing section or not
What I mean is has the allocation been sold for both standing & seated or have they just sold for the standing section and if you wish to be seated, you can be moved into a vacant seat in the seated section

Re: Spurs tickets - are you sitting or standing?
I'm OK when I have a rail to lean on, takes all the pressure off my knees. All depends on the day, sometimes I'm ok but then there are games when I really struggle afterwards.

Standing for me
Re: Spurs tickets - are you sitting or standing?
I wasn't given the option when I bought at the ticket office.
Re: Spurs tickets - are you sitting or standing?
Not sure just how an option could have been offered when all our allocation appear to say Safe Standing.

Re: Spurs tickets - are you sitting or standing?
But the problem with that is that they can't offer options when they're selling online.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 8:30 pmSpurs informed Burnley which seats/rows were for seating and which for standing to enable us to sell them correctly.

I'm not going but I'm annoyed on behalf of everyone that's not been given any choice. If you can't stand and are in that section you'll not see a thing. Hmmm.

I think you'll find you wouldn't have the choice to sit - no seats in those areas.what_no_pies wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 8:45 pmI'm not going but I'm annoyed on behalf of everyone that's not been given any choice. If you can't stand and are in that section you'll not see a thing. Hmmm.

Don't think that's correct. Aren't they rail seats?dougcollins wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 8:56 pmI think you'll find you wouldn't have the choice to sit - no seats in those areas.

Re: Spurs tickets - are you sitting or standing?
Spurs have full size seatsdougcollins wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 9:03 pmI think there's a couple of sorts isn't there - one is an actual mini seat, but the other is more like a 'leaning' pad?
If you sit in the standing area will a steward reprimand you?
