Watford’s behaviour gives football a bad name
According to the Forest Green owner Dale Vince. Manager Rob Edwards has left to replace Roy Hodgson at Watford yet according to Vince there has been no contact between the clubs.

Sure the majority of Watford fans are horrified if this is true. Not a set of fans that have the ‘Billy big balls’ attitude, a lot of their fans have grown up on tails of Graham Taylor and their fantastic rise from minnows. I’m sure by now the fans are sick to death of their owners antics.

Not sure why their fans should be horrified. Maybe some will be pleased they are appointing a young manager rather than the policy they’ve had for the last few years.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 2:07 pmSure the majority of Watford fans are horrified if this is true. They are a poor excuse for a football club.

He will be treated the same way as his predecessors at Watford. Gone by Christmas. Don’t know why any up and coming manager would choose to go there. Roy had it right, take a nice quick payday to supplement the retirement fund.

I forgive them, if they beat Everton tonight.

Unlikely. He strikes me as a meat and 2 veg man.

Everton will not go down. It is us and Leeds and I expect Leeds not to lose tonight

The Premier League have no control on who goes down be it us, Everton or Leeds. Anyone who thinks there is some kind of conspiracy to relegate Burnley is losing the plot and/or are so obsessed that they are blinded to reality and rational thinking

That is a massive leap from one season in League 2. His playing record is acceptable at Championship level but it could all end in tears, again.

Horrified by the lack of class by their owners in not contacting FGR before hand - the way its being done, rather than with the appointmentClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 2:19 pmNot sure why their fans should be horrified. Also, Forest Green were miles clear and did their best to mess up their promotion with only 4 wins from the last 17 games. May be one of those types of managers to do well for a short period of time and as others have said it was a lower level.
