Actually it hardly matters, we'd still have to match leeds over the last 2 games.
It would matter, it would mean Leeds need to win one of their last two to have any chance.

"Burnley with a game in hand" sounds great on the radio until you realise it's Spurs away...
They've been beaten at home by Brighton, Wolves and Southampton.

Surely if they can beat them then we have a chance, no matter how small.

Great evening of results. Bit of a blow for Everton only picking up a point as they would have practically guaranteed safety with a win. And they’ve ended Watford’s horrible home losing streak. Everton with 3 tricky games still to come aren’t completely out of it.

Its the current spate of injuries that's screwing us up.
Ordinarily, I'd back us for a point, but Tarks is a big miss.

Brentford & Palace at home, you'd think there are points for them there.

Many Leeds fans of the same opinion as I am. They just need to beat Brighton as we'll struggle to find 3 points for our last three games.

I was thinking about this too. An Arsenal win would cement Tottenham finishing in 5th place. Could work in our favour.

Of course it would be a massive help.

If we drew at Spurs and lost the other two and Leeds drew with Brighton and lost to Brentford, would it still not mathematically matter?

Every point is crucial

Not quite, but if they lose and we win - we won’t be down barring a massive swing in goal difference - Everton could still drop though

Yes of course but I didn't say mathematically. It will be huge for us if we got a draw it'll mean Leeds will have a bit of pressure on them and they'll feel they will need to beat Brighton. A point against Brigton and they're still below us and we'll have a game in hand. It's all ifs and buts anyway but a point would be huge against spurs for a few reasons.

Chelsea were very impressive tonight, despite the fear Leeds could win the game.

Leeds barely got into their penalty area, such was the Chelsea dominance.

If we get a point at Spurs it'll mean Leeds only have one outcome (win) to go above us. If we lose they'll have 2 outcomes (win or draw) to go above us. Plus we play before Leeds and a point will put massive pressure on them to win. So a point at Spurs will be huge.

Almost as good a set of results as we could hope for tonight

Arsenal win tomorrow would certainly help

Up to us just to try to get as many points as possible in the remaining games and I think we are at the stage where four might well be enough

Apologies Spurs could beat us 25-0 that'll give Leeds another outcome to go above us. 🤣🤣
