Bit perplexed as to why Lancs have dropped Hassan Ali for this one, unless he's injured. He's been phenomenal so far this season, but he's only here for the first 6 matches anyway...

Yorkies won the toss and put us in. Struggling a bit at 74-2 after 36 overs, Wells & Bohannon both out. Hopefully we'll progress a bit better during the afternoon. There's not much (if any) rain about over the four days so a result is likely.
York races today as well, that Lancs to Leeds/York train will be busy.

50's for Jennings and Croft have dragged Lancashire out of trouble, now can one or both go big and ensure a hefty 1st innings total for Jimmy and company to bowl with.

157-2 approaching tea, so a good platform set for the middle order to score some quick runs.

210-2 now; Jennings 104 NO. (Hopefully 200 partnership upcoming).

In division 1, the batting sides (3 of them having been put in) are all going along nicely. 252-3 Somerset v Glos; 235-3 Surrey v Kent and (having been put in by Warwicks) Northants 299-1 in 70 overs.

100 for Jennings, great knock when Lancs really needed him to step up.

7 bowlers used by Yorkshire, but to little avail, and they'll be ruing their decision to insert, particularly with the prospect of facing Parky 4th innings.

50 for Ben Stokes in Durham's match as well.

And generally a day for the batsmen today, the 2 exceptions being at Durham and Leicester.
