Spurs-Arsenal
Not sure what result best suits us TBH, probably an Arsenal win, but given they still have Everton to play next week it might favour us if they still had something at stake.
Both going with their strongest line-up's as you'd rightly expect in a North London derby.

Re: Spurs-Arsenal
Everton won't go down. So an Arsenal win with Kane and Son picking up an injury would do nicely.tiger76 wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 7:07 pmNot sure what result best suits us TBH, probably an Arsenal win, but given they still have Everton to play next week it might favour us if they still had something at stake.

Re: Spurs-Arsenal
I am not focusing that much on Everton anymore, not that I think they are definitely safe but I would think Leeds are the team to focus on.
I'd prefer an Arsenal win, 2 or 3 red cards for Spurs and a few hamstring injuries would help.

Re: Spurs-Arsenal
How anyone would not be over the moon with an Arsenal win is beyond me. Spurs season will be over, they won’t even be playing for places l, 5th would be sealed no matter what. Completely changes the complex of our game.

Spurs to win 3-2. Hopefully Arsenal will win but can see Spurs winning. Think it'll be a good game.

Re: Spurs-Arsenal
Nketiah diving cheat. I mean what is the point nowadays when we have VAR.
Re: Spurs-Arsenal
Gary Neville asks what happened to bookings for simulation (especially in the opposition penalty box), something I often wonder myself. I remember in Dyche’s first promotion season when one of Derby’s player got a goal scratched off and a second yellow for diving. Happy days.AwayClaret wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 7:49 pmNketiah diving cheat. I mean what is the point nowadays when we have VAR.

He'd fouled Son at least 3 times and they weren't little niggle fouls either.

Re: Spurs-Arsenal
Never a second yellow & certainly not deserving of a red in my opinion.
Also didn’t think it was a pen.

Re: Spurs-Arsenal
Agree he might’ve been sent off for two bookings beforehand but not sure the second was a foul never mind yellow card (unless it was worse from other angles).AwayClaret wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 8:22 pmHe'd fouled Son at least 3 times and they weren't little niggle fouls either.

Hopefully Spurs will feel like they only have to turn up on Sunday to beat us. Possibly our best chance of getting something out of the game.

Re: Spurs-Arsenal
At least we have spare capacity in the goal difference, which will probably be taking
a rather large dent on Sunday.

Re: Spurs-Arsenal
Holding clear 2 yellows
Clear penalty as well
Holding could have been booked before his second yellow

Re: Spurs-Arsenal
We might get taken apart at Spurs on Sunday, but cast your minds back a few months when they went to City and won, then suffered defeat on their visit to TM a few days later. You never know which Sours team is going to turn up, and hopefully they'll find Sunday an after the lord mayor's show event.
