Big game for the Blue Brazil today!
Second leg of the Scottish League Two Play off Final to decide if they stay in the League.
Already 0 - 3 down after the first leg although all 3 of those goals came after Cowdenbeath had a player sent off.

Yes Mel, could affect the future of the club as well.
Big deficit to overcome but Bonnyrigg Rose will not fancy the Central Park cauldron !

Not looking too promising for the Blue Brazil, 1-0 down on the day, and 4-0 down on agg with only 10 minutes remaining.
Sadly this has been on the cards for a few seasons now, and I only hope they can recover and get themselves back in the league, but that won't be easy given the quality in the lower reaches of the Scottish game, not to mention many of the up and coming clubs who have finances behind them.

I don ' t think a relegated club has come back yet. I can think of East Stirling, Berwick and Brechin. Are there any more?

No I think along with Cowdenbeath that's them all, and yes none have yet made it back, which just illustrates the task facing anyone relegated from the league.lakedistrictclaret wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 4:57 pmI don ' t think a relegated club has come back yet. I discovered a random fact about Bonnyrigg Rose, none other than one Sean Connery briefly played for them in the 1950's, before he of course went down the acting route.
Re: Fao Bodge - Cowdenbeath
I have been following the fortunes of Cowdenbeath for about 55 years now so this is a bit of a sad day. But as you said Bodge it's been coming for a few seasons now after a few near misses.
And recently promoted non league teams like Cove Rangers,Kelty Hearts and Edinburgh City have all gone on to be promoted again. Proving that there are some good non league teams around. So it may well be difficult for the Blue Brazil to get back up into the League again.
I will still be looking out for their results every week though.

I think Sean Connery played on the right wing. With the number 007 on the back of his shirt.tiger76 wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 5:12 pmNo I think along with Cowdenbeath that's them all, and yes none have yet made it back, which just illustrates the task facing anyone relegated from the league.
