What are you doing to help the cause?

Post by Fretters » Sat May 21, 2022 2:05 pm

Apart from attending games and showing your support, obviously.

Personally, I started wearing a ring my mum bought me for my 21st. I was never a big fan of jewellery but, since she passed away in 2012, I used to wear it to all games after that as she was a massive claret. Sadly, for financial reasons, I had to stop going for a few years and I got out of the habit of wearing it but, for some reason, I stuck it on the day Dyche was sacked. I think I did because her final game was Dyche's first, a 2-0 win against Wolves.

I haven't taken it off since and there's absolutely no way it's coming off now.

Also, tomorrow would have been her 65th birthday so I think we'll be absolutely fine 8-)

Any other superstitions going to help us tomorrow?

I shall be wearing my C/B hooped socks - unable to get them from the club I bought a complete team kit (seventeen pairs), not sure if they are all lucky… but backed up by my 4th-Premier match day scarf and my lucky Mitre t-shirt (complete with wear and tear of thirty years); we surely cannot fail.

Wearing my LaBa360 black away kit for the Manchester 10k... somewhere near the back!
Hopefully will get plenty of support from the Utd fans!

I'll just be turning up as normal, nothing I do or don't do will have any effect on the outcome.

People who wear lucky socks or undies must have worn them at games we've lost? So not that lucky really.

Bet you're fun at parties.

My superstition is which turnstile I go through. Its been number 14 for a while but after Villa defeat I need to pick a new one. Thinking going 11, cant do 13 today!

Can't decide between my lucky Burnley baseball cap, 2 wins this season, or my lucky Mercedes F1 baseball cap, also 2 wins this season.

Both have been equally useless during the rest of the season.

Praying that Christian Eriksen has the best game of his career as it could be his last for Brentford.

Dunno if it will help but today I wear the “Orient” shirt, and I’m hoping for some last day miracles like the last time we wore it in the same circumstances.
