It is, and I normally laugh it off too and take it all as part of the pantomime.

However, this last week has seen many acts of violence towards players and staff. The situation had the potential to be volatile. Plus I am never normally that close to and believe me it was galling to see the ecstasy in his eyes.
He'd just scored a goal mate

I think you are over thinking this one a bit

By all means get annoyed, shout at him to "F**k off your prick" (all of which I'd have done!) but its just part of the pantomime part of football isn't it?

I was in the hospitality in the Bob Lord Stand on Sunday and there were two tables of Newcastle fans. Great lads, and lasses and not an ounce of trouble or malice.

They were very sympathetic towards us and fully realised without their takeover it would have highly likely been them in our position.

We have our own share of **** heads lets not forget, and I'm sure I'll be proven right looking at some of next season's fixtures.

How has this thread gone from discussing Newcastle fans to criticising Charlie Taylor???
Unfortunately it seems it has!
I like Taylor and he's been a great signing and I'd never suggest he'd let us or anyone else down because he supported a different team as lad, but I have mentioned on another thread that from a purely footballing point of view it looked like he could and should have done much better for the second goal. Wilson is 4 yards ahead of him when the ball is out wide and he either doesn't see or doesn't react and sprint to get back goal side which imo he could have done. Taylor's reaction after the goal does say a lot as he knew he'd cocked up tbf.

And so why mention that he supports Leeds?
As i said, " It was an emotive reaction to conceding a goal that effectively sealed our relegation". I retyped word for word what i said on Sunday. I could have left the Leeds reference out, still doesn't hide the fact that it was a woeful piece of defending at any time, never mind with what was at stake on Sunday.

No one saying its not good defending Herts, its just I don't see any need to mention that he's a Leeds fan

Taylor has had a bad season, but he's not the only one
