Bardsley and Pieters
Pictured by the Daily Mail out in The Ivy in Manchester ‘gatecrashing’ City’s title party. Absolute non story because they’ll probably go in the summer but why are you as a pro footballer going out hours after you’ve just been relegated where you’re obviously going to get cameras on you? Abysmal.

Re: Bardsley and Pieters
They're hardly partying are they, just going for some drinks and probably ruefully discussing their own futures knowing that both are likely leaving (although, I wouldn't be averse to Pieters sticking about for another year).

Complete idiots. How dare you have a life and live it. You were supposed to go home and reflect on your failures. Disgusting.

Re: Bardsley and Pieters
So you've had an awful day at work on a Friday and your mates are off to the pub and ask you to come along, would you say "Nah, had a bad day so just going to go home and cry and be in a mood all night?"Milltown1882 wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 1:47 pmPictured by the Daily Mail out in The Ivy in Manchester ‘gatecrashing’ City’s title party. Re: Bardsley and Pieters
They should be made to live out the rest of their lives in purgatory. Either that or be forced to spend a whole week at Pontins in Prestatyn.
Re: Bardsley and Pieters
I could cut them both some slack seeing as neither featured in yesterday’s debacle.

Re: Bardsley and Pieters
They probably have a 4 week window where they can go out and let their hair down.
2 weeks for a likely family holiday.
Get out while you can lads.

Purgatory perhaps, but a week in Presratyn? I think you'll find that cruel and inhuman punishments are no longer permitted.Billy Balfour wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 2:04 pmThey should be made to live out the rest of their lives in purgatory. Re: Bardsley and Pieters
I went to The Ivy in Manchester a couple of weeks back with the missus....and not one person wanted to take a photo of me
Also, you have to pay extra if you want chips or veg with your main course!

Re: Bardsley and Pieters
I definitely fancied a few drinks after yesterday, don't see a problem with the players doing it as well.
Re: Bardsley and Pieters
Don’t think it looks great straight afterwards personally

Re: Bardsley and Pieters
Typical rubbish from that paper.
"The freshly-relegated squad managed to rally themselves to head out to The Ivy on Sunday evening, despite being booed by their own fans that afternoon."
I didn't hear one boo all afternoon!

Re: Bardsley and Pieters
They have been together since their Stoke days. They deserve a last drink and some reminiscing .

Re: Bardsley and Pieters
I know we don’t have the biggest squad, but I’m not sure it consists of 2 players who managed 16 appearances between themThe freshly-relegated squad managed to rally themselves to head out to The Ivy on Sunday evening, despite being booed by their own fans that afternoon.
Re: Bardsley and Pieters
The whole squad went to Manchester after the game yesterday for a night out.
End of the season and probably last chance a lot of them spend time together

Re: Bardsley and Pieters
The biggest surprise in this story for me is that City had their party at the Ivy. I’d have thought they’d have gone somewhere more upmarket and private

Milltown sounds like your stereo typical socialist who are always jealous of someone having a few more bob than them and enjoying their money. At least he isn't calling them racist , that being his normal chant

Heh. It takes some doing to squeeze a political angle out of the original post. Certainly worth a 10 out of 10.

So they went out who cares it's not like we've got a game anytime soon is it, and they are allowed a social life you know.

Bardsley would have been useful.yesterday against the French winger for them.
