Should be easier to do with fewer people tuning in.

You get I follow on I P T V, but the games I tried watching on there, admittedly over a year ago, linked local radio to the pictures which were a few seconds out.
Not a pleasant viewing experience.

Is iFollow for away games only? The official thing I mean, if I was to pay for it.

ifollow have stopped showing the 3pm kick-offs after this season ended.
Apparently it was a covid concession which has now ended.
Nothing live allowed between 2:45 and 5:15 pm.

Ah, gutted. Was looking forward to being able to watch away matches on reliable streams. Although expecting to go to most.

If iFollow are stopping 3pm streams, I presume this means that there won't be anything available to view on IPTV?

As I understand it, the iFollow works abroad for 3pm kick offs so there will be a way of watching the game still if you can find a provider/app/way of accessing these.

Its just in the UK that they closed down the 3pm games, having made an exception for them during Covid where fans were not allowed to go to games.

Are all EFL Championship games streamed, similar to PL games though?

A short while back only a few were ever available to watch, although the streaming sites made it out like all were available.

That’s not true. I follow was available for abroad customers before covid.

In the UK, you can still watch them abroad, or use a VPN.

My IPTV service has every championship game and not via iFollow so there will be web streams out there somewhere too to watch it on

You will definitely get live streams through using a vpn or watching through iptv.

If you actually read the ifollow site correctly, it does not state that the live streaming of 3pm Saturday games will stop at the end of this season. It was old news, that statement was made at the beginning of the season that has just ended - 2021/22. All the games have been available on iptv this season

Can I get teletext from Japan? Once watched a cracking 0-0 v Wolves on it. Never stopped flickering. The imagination ran riot. I had every premier league game live for 12 quid on DAZN last season including highlights whenever you wanted to watch, but now we are gone....

iFollow is not available for every club as the club needs to opt in to use the service. I think around 14 or 15 clubs in the Championship didn't use iFollow last season probably because they're games are already shown through mainstream foreign sports channels.

I can't see Burnley using iFollow so I wouldn't bank on this being an option however there is a chance. I think clubs can use a different digital service other than iFollow to show their games overseas but again I doubt Burnley will take the time, effort and initial expense to do this when their games will be shown anyway.

Hesgoals should have championship games on as they have only agreed not to stream Prem and European champions league or any other UEFA competition

If we're not on ifollow I'm afraid we'll be relegated to hoping theres a stream of some kind, likely with foreign commentary.

A lot will depend on how 'exciting" the fixture will be, which let's face it in our case is usually not very often. Maybe the derbies will be.

Basically the games shown by Sky in the UK, foreign media outlets like ESPN+in the USA piggyback on this coverage.

I'm not sure there's an English speaking country which has rights to show every game.

A bit off topic I know but don't Sky show every midweek game live on the red button?

With us wanting to break the American market, It’d be a bit rubbish if people there couldn’t watch our live games.

Listening to the Leeds game on my radio last Sunday gave me nostalgic feelings of simpler times. I’d always opt to be there live, or watch on tv but the days of listening to radio lancs for their ‘goal action’ or 2br for live commentary shows how far we have come.

Get a Firestick loaded with the right software, the whole of EFL is on, every game, every week, all 3 divisions. Been watching it for 3 years now when Burnley have had no game. As stated in another thread, I watched Bristol Rovers get 7 to go up on last day of League 2.

Good to know but using illegal IPTV isn't the same as an official stream. Quality is very bad and IPTV services are filled with reliability issues. Plus you get foreign commentary often which really isn't great.
It's a bit of a set back to fans who've been watching Burnley legally without any problem for some time.

To put it into perspective. I always used to use IPTV but got so sick of having to change providers constantly and all the reliability issues I jumped on the opportunity to watch games streamed legally in the USA instead and haven't had an issue since.

If we don't go with ifollow I'll be back to the old problems again no doubt. If you know of a good provider, please let me know.

You know I think I'll just contact sky and start subscribing to the Sports channel again. Won't see every game but I'll probs see most of the derbies!

I am pretty sure streaming games or using these back street TV subscription services isn’t illegal for the end user? I would hope that most of us on here who can do will pay to attend games next season, however streaming games when unable to attend is a way to see the game. I would do it if I had to if say we were at QPR on a Tuesday night and I couldn’t make it due to not being able to get home on public transport after the game.

do what I do - go on "radio silence" and watch the game on clarets player the following day, or two days if an away game - as if live. Tough to do, but I've done it a couple of years now
