Plenty of talk as per but still no signings.

I won't believe one Iota of the the speculation until the person is an actual claret. We have been let down and hoodwinked by the last owners so many times over the years that I have little optimism
Kompany in his presser this afternoon said there were a few medicals lined up and done. Announcements to be made over the next few days.

Interesting. Heard Cole Palmer is coming today, accept it’s a different position but another midfielder blocking his path nevertheless.

I don't see a hope in hell of Palmer going to the Championship, he's way ahead of that. He'll have PL suitors.

Being ever the optimist. He’d maybe never get another season like this to accelerate his career.

Mee and Tripps saw a way to the prem away from Man City, and a promotion (fingers crossed) season under Kompany?

Its possible!!

I don’t think he was anything but accurate with that. Just a matter of when now, certainly for two signings.

When you think we were heavily linked with one of those in January and would almost certainly be the other now, this window has been Truelove transformational from where we were - before we’ve even signed anyone!!

Its really good to see the speculation, but are the prospective new signings better than the players they may replace? Are they better than Tarks, Ben, Nick etc. For a couple of million each, probably not at the moment. However I welcome the fact that we are purchasing potential. But let's not get too carried away just yet.

Probably not or they’d be in the premier league ad they’re replacing the best players at the club, not sure if you were saying that for the wind up

I think that if your expecting us to sign young players, for the Championship as good as those 3 then now it’s very likely your going to end up disappointed.

Exactly. Need to show some patience, let’s not forget Pope was about to be a league one goalkeeper when we signed him…he turned out pretty well..

Just looked and Steffen is on £50k per at City, Muric £20k, so much more realistic.

Think Muric did very well in Turkey last season. But before that Forest fans said he was an absolute shocker for them. Albeit was very young I guess when he joined them.

I can't get too excited about most of these proposed signings. To me anyway they are mostly unknowns, mostly no experience in first teams or The Championship, and don't look like players that can give us the capabilities to return to The Premier League at the first attempt. Couple that with the loss of the only real Premier League players we had, a manager who also has no England managerial experience and all the excitement becomes about 'potential'. Potential because of all the unknowns but once we know.....

I'm just hopeful the powers that be know what they're doing but quite frankly they have yet to show that they do.

It's going to be a long weekend if this is a sign of things to come... Cheer up :D

I can't get too excited about most of these proposed signings. To me anyway they are mostly unknowns, mostly no experience in first teams or The Championship, and don't look like players that can give us the capabilities to return to The Premier League at the first attempt. The very fact that for successive seasons Burnley were among the 3 lowest scoring teams in the PL, and that the top 2 clubs in the Championship had the division's leading scorers in Mitrovic (43) and Solanke (29), it is glaringly obvious that to have any chance of bouncing straight back you need a goalscorer who will net you 20+ goals.
Yes but both those teams never scored many in the premier league, those two players have terrible goalscoring records in the premier league.
How do you know Richardson won't bag 20!? CT has already alluded to it that Dyche had planned to use him in the premier league last season before he got injured
