Even if there's no more play, we win on D/L.
Good to know, I wasn't sure if enough overs had been completed for D/L to come into the equation or not.

Lancs well poised to complete a win at Leicester, if the rain disappears. 48-1 in the 6th chasing a modest 136, 6 bowlers among the wickets, with Hartley and Parkinson both posting impressive figures.
If it doesn’t stop raining who is ahead on d/l

It'd be a b*gger if they cant complete this game but I think D/L comes into force if at least 5 overs have been bowled and weve had 5.3 and hopefully well ahead of the rate (or have I got the D/L rules wrong?)

EDIT- beaten to it.

I've been watching the live stream, and we've faced the minimum five overs. We're well ahead on D/L.

Salt & Croft both out now having got us to 100-3.
7 overs to get 35 now, should be done.

Easy win and a nice cameo by David to power us home.

The big one tomorrow at Leeds.

Just seen Bodge, Bedfords and MDWat sitting on the pavement next to their three man tent, outside the front gates to Headingley Stadium… Apparently they have camped out overnight for their cup final…

Yorkies won the toss and have put Lancs in to bat.
Hope there's a big gate- YCCC needs the money to pay all that compo.

Good first half of the innings but a huge wicket to lose in Livi. Hopefully David can put on a show.

What's the situation with Jos Butler? I know he was in (starred in even) IPL but he's been back a little while now. Is he available to play when rested?

He’s in the England squad to go to Holland - assuming he’s being rested till then.

213 for Lancs in front of a sparse Headingley Crowd.

No doubt that will be used as a stick to beat the blast with.

213/5 at the finish. Dane Vilas did really well but sensational stuff from Tim David.

Decent score to defend, great work from David and Vilas in the closing overs.

Why is there such a small crowd, I'd have thought a Roses encounter would have attracted the hordes, but seemingly that isn't the case.

Good effort there with none of the bowlers managing to go for less than 9 an over. Rashid 0-42 off 4 is unusually expensive for him I think. Hopefully we can take 2/3 wickets earlyish as they're obliged to go for the shots.

Is there not quite a lot of discontent at YCCC with the way they sacked so many staff? Especially poignant after having admitted this week that the complaints for unfair dismissals are well founded and probably having to pay a shedload in compo.

Possibly I haven't been following that story, if it's the case that staff were unfairly dismissed, then yes quite rightly YCCC should be made to compensate them, and it can't be doing their reputation much good having all these claims hanging over the club.

There’s a significant money in the club accounts set aside for court costs/out of court settlements whichever happens first.

Where have they got it from?

Nearly gone bankrupt a few times in recent times and a lot of sponsors cancelled didn't they?

Correction: it was the employment judge who said the complaints (of unfair dismissal) were well-founded. YCCC have only acknowledged the judgment that no disciplinary process was followed. Defo going to be biggish compo sums to pay out.

Anyway- Lancs keeping the score rate down reasonably well so far, another wicket wouldn't go amiss though.
