Hopefully if the track is ok we should see best part of five hundred runs tonight. Red Rose on top of course.

Lancs looking like they’ll be chasing around 200 v Derbyshire. Some very wayward bowling.

Should've won that. I like Rob Jones, but he's not a T20 player. I'd have played Bell before him after his knock last night

He must have fancied himself keeping on strike during the last over but no intent …. sloppy all round for 🌹. We just don’t like home QF in T20 do we … apart from when we had to play at Durham due to a concert. 😂

Fair point CT … he was the playmaker and looked like he could hit every ball for 6 with a almost 200% strike rate. I think Birmingham have to play Yorkshire and us and we have Worcestershire away next Friday. Keep the Faith.

Surely that's tongue in cheek John? He's had an excellent season in general, him and Croft won the game on Sunday. The issue is the specialist red ball batsmen who can't get it of the square.

Speaking of Croft, I was very dubious about him playing at number 3/4, but he's been magnificent.

Vilas is our 3rd top scorer. A very decent return for someone coming at 4,5 and 6. He’s not the problem.

Agreed, and a very competent wicket keeper too. I think his captaincy with the bowler's has been superb too.

Look at Headingley, he brought his best death bowler in Gleeson early, and he snared Willey then in his final over effectively won the game.

The problem seems to be the same every season which is not runs but lack of cricketing brains when it matters the most.

Robbo the issue is that the ECB wanted the T20 done and dusted before the first post covid The Hundred which is their baby. T20 finals day is usually in September but by bringing it forward it was always going to effect the county T20 set up.
