Tie.
Terrible final over. Free hit and missed stumping.
I hate with a passion wicketkeepers not getting behind the stumps.

What a finish. Thought the two no balls were harsh too.

Re: Lancs v Yorks T20
Great finale that and either side could have nicked it, so a tie is probably fair overall.

Re: Lancs v Yorks T20
Only showed the last one very briefly but didn’t look a no ball to me
Re: Lancs v Yorks T20
I'm gonna claim one of tiger's famous moral victories, we were always second favourites till Lanky lost their cool with your 4 captains not agreeing on tactics.
A piece of advice for Tom Hartley, get rid of that Reinhard Heydrich hairdo, it's a real poor look.

Second looked way over.
First one shouldn’t have been given.

Agree such a simple run out if he’d stood behind the stumps!Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Fri May 27, 2022 9:29 pmTie.

Re: Lancs v Yorks T20
Wicket keepers don’t seem to stand behind the stumps now but the throw wasn’t good and there were two catches dropped that were costly.Steve-Harpers-perm wrote: ↑Fri May 27, 2022 9:47 pmAgree such a simple run out if he’d stood behind the stumps!

House beat Great Harwood and Burnley beat Rishton in the first games of the Lancs League tournament tonight.

It does look like a Heydrich, doesn't it. By the way, it's 80 years to the day since the assassination.

We were slack in a few areas, catches win matches as they say.

Re: Lancs v Yorks T20
I thought the first was a poor call. He's come forward out of his crease, strikes the ball well in front of his body and the ball was on a downward trajectory. take Brook out of the picture and it would have passed his crease at thigh height.
I had no problem with the second, much higher and batter was further back.

Who won just got in ...
Oh twas a draw ... hang on don't Yarkies win due to less wickets down

Re: Lancs v Yorks T20
It was a bit of a sloppy performance last night by Lancashire.
Despite not timing the ball that well we set a decent target for Yorkshire to chase and them two young lads batted superb. Dropped catches and missed run out cost us, along with the poor umpiring decision for the first no ball. Which the extra ball of the over went for 6.
Certainly not getting the best out of our players at the moment.

Re: Lancs v Yorks T20
The first no ball was a shocker and as stated above the extra ball went for 6 so it cost 8 runs in a tied game.
Second is a no ball for me.
On the run out it’s a terrible throw.

Re: Lancs v Yorks T20
The second one couldn’t not be a no ball after the first one which was a ridiculous decision that, as said, cost us 8 runs.arise_sir_charge wrote: ↑Sat May 28, 2022 9:40 amThe first no ball was a shocker and as stated above the extra ball went for 6 so it cost 8 runs in a tied game.
