Hasselblad photographer?
I spotted a guy photographing fans with a Hasselblad before our final match. Was that you or do you know who it was? Unusual choice of camera.

Was it Buzz Aldrin?
Re: Hasselblad photographer?
It was Stuart Clarke, I'd seen he was to be going to our game v Newcastle.

They start at £5399:00 nowadays, but go as high as £43500:00 no lens included, or memory card. They are now owned by DJI the people who make drones, tremendous cameras and the detail that the sensor captures is in the next level with 400 mega pixels and 15 stops of dynamic range.
Ah well, I can dream.............

Are they the ones that were 'medium format' cameras in old money, with plates?

Medium format film not plates Doug, truly spectacular camera; if my business gets going more, maybe just maybe I'll click one. Not for me and wildlife, but I could imagine a wedding shoot would be special.

Yes, he had the Homes of Football exhibition. / Shop in Ambleside.
It was a bit of a strange choice of venue and closed a few years ago.

Used one many years ago in the days of film alongside various Mamiyas. Superb lens quality. Their digital cameras are great but would be surprised if they survived their competitors for too long unfortunately.

Re: Hasselblad photographer?
I used a Hasselblad 500C/M for portraiture for many years. Along with Zeiss lenses the image quality was superb. Unfortunately when I changed from film to digital the cost of a digital back for the Hasselblad to far to expensive at £21K so it had to go as everyone now wants to see the results of a photo shoot virtually immediately after the shoot has finished.
