Re: Neil Critchley
Was the same in 2012, Blackpool hired Paul Ince, Blackburn hired Henning Berg and we hired Sean Dyche. Let's hope we appoint the better manager this time as well.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 5:05 pmBurnley, Blackburn and Blackpool all looking for a manager !

Re: Neil Critchley
I would have been happy with him as our next manager
Re: Neil Critchley
Strange as many assistants move to take the No1 job, as the previous Villa assistant has done, rather than give one up to go back to being an assistant. Can only think he’s getting a big uplift and has taken Blackpool as far as he thought he could, but did a very good job there and undoubtedly could have taken the managers job at a bigger club in the not too distant future.

Re: Neil Critchley
Surprised at this news. I had him down as a possible for our job when Dyche first left. He appears to have done a really good job there. Didn’t expect him to give up a manager’s job to become an assistant.
