Though I'd heard this chaps name before, he scored the late winner for Ukraine against Sweden in the Euro's at Hampden last year.

Forest were heavily linked with him earlier in the summer, so I've no idea what happened with them, maybe getting Lingard cooled their interest.

He certainly seems to have the knack of scoring goals, which is what we've been crying out.

Strikers more than any are only attracted to the top leagues.

it's not how many followers, it's who they are. Nicho Schira and Fabrizio Romano would suggest he is a VERY good source

Quite agree, who is in charge of recruitment? Doubt VK was a regular at MK or Oxford last season for example running the rule over Twine and McNally...not to mention the other non Belgians

This issue with agents and the Cape Verde guy made me ponder that many rivals in this division simply won’t have the skillset to fish in that pond. Obviously there are concerns about our own staff with many coming and going, but in theory a side with years in the Premier League should have a big behind the scenes advantage when it comes to knowing how to get tricky deals like that over the line.

I do feel things are looking up and it is promising that the owners appear to want to make full advantage of our power coming down as an formerly established PL club.
