Hannibal Mejbri available to go out on loan from United apparently, with 3 unnamed Championship clubs having made provisional offers - one leading the way currently.

A few utd fans earlier were saying he's coming to us, but I've never heard of him, so ignored it

I can really see the young Man Utd lad coming.

A player with the name Hannibal fits our criteria of good Twitter video potential.

I think it's becoming clear we are trying to get 6 to play across the front 3 who are all interchangeable based on form and fitness. It's also noticeable that most of the links can play on the left and also the right

Benson LW/RW
Tella LW/RW
Churlinov LW/RW / CF
Barnes / Jay CF
Vininho LW/RW
Twine LW/RW/AM

That's always the case with the Youtube clips.

They never make the player look like they couldn't trap a bag of cement to give a bit of balance. It always makes them look like the next Ronaldo or Messi.

It is & they definitely need to be treated with caution, but they do give you an idea of the type of player. Benson was exactly what I was expecting from his vids, etc.

True. And some of the standard of defence around is way worse. I remember watching Woot break through against 'pool and expecting that cheeky chip we'd seen about 8 tines in his highlights reel. Sadly disappointed!!!!

Tbf though he looks strong and certainly has a really good left foot. Churlinov looks decent too

He was horrifically bad in a pre-season friendly that I saw him in... Has a very nasty temperament like Luis Suárez as well but without the talent.

There’s a clip going round of Churlinov on tik tok.

He certainly has a bit of Ashley Barnes in him. Think he looks like a great fit

Not big on youtube links but Hannibal has it all. Even in the highlights he has great control, he carries it and beats a man but best of all he carries it with his head up and plays superb through ball for our strikers to waste. He’s a yes please from me.

He does but so did Weghorst.
Weghorst is still a very good player and he still belongs to BFC.
He was starved of service but with this
new team forever going forwards he could work wonders for us next season...whatever League we are in.

There's no way Wout Weghorst could play the high pressing game that VK wants and he lacks the pace that we need on the counter. He is everything that VK doesn't want in a forward.

I think I've only seen Hannibal play when they brought him on at the end of their thrashing by Liverpool last season with the express direction to kick any Liverpool player he could. He's certainly energetic.

Saw him in United’s first team at the end of last season. Very exciting player. Will get you off your seat. There was an air of expectancy every time he got the ball. VK will just need to rein him in a little, just needs to channel his youthful exuberance to maximise his undoubted potential. A definite, definite YES from me. Now VK will have to keep all the bench warmers happy. No easy task. We now have a team of young galacticos if theses next couple of signings happen.

Ashley Barnes has apparently volunteered to put on a wig and play the part of Clarice Starling

Expecting a clip of the cells under the turf (if they are still there) with Kompany approaching to find Hannibal.

For all you can say about Football Manager, their scouting network in every country is unmatched and they have correctly (and incorrectly!) called many world class players from 17 years old upwards.

Hannibal is one of those who goes on to be world class (it’s not real life I know, but he will offer something in the champ)

That's how the Hoffenheim director of football first found Roberto Firmino back in 2011.

As someone who studied ancient history, blogs about, has done Roman reinactment and recently recorded a series of episodes on a certain Carthaginian's campaign in Italy the possibility of Hannibal is of high interest.

If the club can cover the travel I will happily turn up in full Roman kit.

Other than that perhaps 'Hannibal at the gates' with him at the gates or turnstiles? I'm sure the reveal video will be epic.

Liam Delap still an unknown situation according to the Stoke manager Michael O’Neil.
Nothing from Man City either.
Hopefully under the BFC radar.

As someone who studied ancient history, blogs about, has done Roman reinactment and recently recorded a series of episodes on a certain Carthaginian's campaign in Italy...
So why did he 'cross the Alps' with his elephants? I assume Hannibal came up from eastern Spain; so why not just stick to the coast road and come into Italy around by San Remo, a lump shorter and easier elephant walking country too?
