I think given our lack of height he’d go straight in or at least after a game or two observing. I think it unlikely we’d spend that much on a back up when Charlie is basically playing his second best position.

I agree -the reason VK is looking at an experienced CH is that he is not convinced with the combination of TBH and CT. CT gets himself into dangerous situations through his lack of CH experience and his sole dependence on his left foot, which you can get away with to a degree at LB.Happened several times v Watford TBH by contrast looks very composed when bringing the ball forward or in distribution

CT is a left back. THB is composed but lacking pace. VK has a lot of work to do to make us a top 6 team. My fear is we are a bit lightweight for this division

I'm not saying I thought he was particularly quick but I hadn't noticed a lack of pace. A quick google on player speeds threw this up but it doesn't look particularly reliable. Apparently Nathan Tella was the second fastest PL player last year (21.75 mph) behind...Wilfried Zaha!

Are you seriously suggesting you can’t see a plan in the way we are playing.

Regardless of how long you’ve been watching football I’d suggest if you can’t see what we are trying to do then you’ve not taken enough notice.

I can see a method or perhaps a variety of methods being adopted. I can see that the ball is spending more time on the floor than it has in recent seasons. I can also read a number of posters' opinions about 'three at the back'. ' a back four', 'a three here and a three there'. We've even had the ever increasing admiration of 'the false nine'( whatever that is). All legitimate claims for what they are seeing. But a plan? No, sorry. A lot of experimentation probably but it doesn't add up to a plan. Again, no blame attached to anyone considering the the massive turnover of players.

Struggling to get excited about the Churlinov signing.
Ive never heard of him and doesn't look as exciting as Benson or Cabral on YouTube.
I can't find anything on Twitter where people are giving him good reviews. In fact all I can see is the odd German tweet suggesting that we are overpaying.
