Very quick indeed, wasn’t he the lad that actually ran past Walker last season?

Tella is a very, very good singing if we pull that off. When did we last have this much serious pace out wide?

Interesting one, isn’t it. Either Cabral turned us down or asked too much and we quickly moved on. No messing around with us these days!

I just watched an interview he did. Seems a nice lad.

Yeah if we have actually gone back in for Cabral then there has to be some interest there from the player, I just don’t see us signing tella on loan then signing Cabral of Konrad perm as that would leave us with 6 or 7 potentially wide on players

Was out for a few games with a groin injury last season and started pre-season by playing the first two games but has had a knock on his knee putting him out till last week. Back in full training now but lacking sharpness.

Well, that's what I've just read. ;)

It wouldn't surprise me, that's how City played for most of the past 2 years.

More loans to replace outgoings, where’s the money going? what happened to the buy, develop then sell?

Everything on the cheap. Happily flog half of our team for 80 million quid but won’t reinvest £5m on a Cornet replacement? Pure cheap. They don’t even believe in their own strategy, won’t fund it properly.

Post this at the end of the window.

If we've not spend some decent money on a striker and centre half at the very least, the alarm bells will be ringing and clearly. As it stands there are still weeks to go.

Bought

Muric
Riley
McNalley
Twine
Vitinho
Benson
Bastien
Cullen

Loan

Maatsen(sp?)
THB

Bit harsh if you ask me to be calling out the club for their strategy based on the above if you ask me.

Also consider O Hare we probably still want but may want to keep some money back for Jan for him and others.

What is harsh about calling out the lack of reinvestment? We've sold all of our best players for well over £60m and reinvested peanuts. Put 2 proper players into this Kompany side and we'll be a serious threat, instead it's scraping the barrel.

I've never seen the striker from Cardiff play, if that's VK first choice, they rejected 2.5? throw them 4-5 mill. We'll sell him for £15m+ in 2 years anyway if we really believe in the project, right.... that's the strategy correct?

You've no idea on the size of the loan fee etc, it could be pricey. If he does the business and gets us promoted who gives a f*ck if he's not our player. He is for this season. There could also be clauses referring permanent transfer etc.

Reading some of the posts on here, I think some posters believe we can compete with the clubs who are already a City of millions to a town of 70k? You guys really need a reality check of life as a BFC fan pre premier league. What is happening now is 3 years in front of what I thought would be happening, and couldn't expect anymore

Your saying we haven't reinvested properly and only spent peanuts yet in the same paragraph say we're only two players away from being a serious threat.....it can only be one or the other.

What if we buy a centre half instead of loaning , so we have now decided to loan an attacker so we can use the cash to get the defender we want?

Tbf I get what KRBFC is saying. Every loan signing that is a first team regular is just another player we have to replace next season.

If it gets us promoted than it’s probably worth it but tbh it’s just papering over cracks.

Taking the loan stuff out of it,

I am really happy with the signing, he will scare defenders no end at this level.
