You have put the decimal point in the wrong place.

If that fee is correct someone at Forest needs to have a medical

When footballers I've never heard of are being signed for £40,000,000 by a team that hasn't played top division football for quarter of a century I think I'm living in a Championship Manager saved game.

Wow, watched a few of his games for Sheff Utd last season in the Championship and he looked a reasonable player but that fee is ridiculous.

He’s a good player but my lord that fee is extortionate.

I stick by the view that we sold McNeil remarkably cheap based on that.

How can City have signed Haaland for 50m but Gibbs white is worth 44m.

Taking money out of it. Forrest have managed to build quite an exciting squad. With there manager and squad I wouldn’t be surprised to see them finish mid table

Haaland had that figure built into his contract so that he could leave and demand a wage of half a million a week. Without that clause he would have gone for £200m….or even higher.

To be honest, Phil Bird seems a decent bloke, however I was surprised to see him keep his job when ALK had a big clear out. I accept most Burnley fans are bias towards Burnley but he takes it to another level.

The Gray example doesn't prove that paying the price demanded, no questions asked, automatically means success. (Quite apart from what it does to the price of other transfer targets.)

I would imagine that if we had moved faster to sign O'Hare, it would probably have mean that we had a £10m player sitting in our treatment room with no prognosis of how serious his injury is, three weeks after it happened. Would that have made the difference to promotion? I don't think so.

Have you the links to how much O'Hare would have cost, how much we offered, and the evidence that he was Kompany's number 1 target?
There's no point responding to him. All he wants and needs is reaction.

I'm simply going off what was reported from the Coventry end.

When I say ''O'Hare will transform this team'' that's my opinion, you're fine to disagree. I think we're a proper ball carrying 10 from being a really good side at this level, again you can disagree, I have no intention of really arguing my opinion on this.

I don't know why you get the impression I'm unhappy supporting Burnley, I like what I see currently, 1-2 proper incomings and we'll paste teams. (Again, when I say we'll paste teams, that is my opinion and my opinion only)
Stop making stuff up to carry on your silly views.
I’m not going to ask you to post a link to corroborate what you said because I know it won’t.

And whilst opinions are fine expect to be called out for ones that have no basis or evidence. Remember the context of why you said he would ‘transform the team’……it was in the same post where you are accusing the club for faffing about for the sake of a few quid after posting several hundred times about Pace taking all the money out of the club to pay himself and service the debt. So of course you are going to have an unsubstantiated double dig at the club.

As for your last paragraph of you being happy sh-it a brick I would not like to see you unhappy…..actually forget that as of course we have seen you unhappy for the last few years under Dyche so I guess it’s all relative. It’s just a spectrum of moaning for you.

I like Phil Bird and his somewhat biased commentaries on the Burnley games and I haven’t seen the interview. However, if that was one of his questions directed at VK, then it is absolutely ridiculous and incredulous. I am not lambasting Phil in any way, but really, that is totally unnecessary and I hope he just hadn’t thought it through.

The last stream I watched, the women who was on with him showed him up big style when it came to football knowledge. He’s very outdated but the bloke from Bid Up TV is much worse. You’d have thought ALK would address this

This sounds so inappropriate and amateur.

What on earth does this question have to do with preparation for the Blackpool game or the transfer window? I feel that there is a time and place for this sort of question, in a protected space with advanced agreement from the person being asked if they actually care to comment on such matters. However, making preparation for the next game and the manager's day to day job suddenly about the colour of his skin without warning is completely inappropriate, invalidating, even discriminatory.

I haven't seen the video, so apologies if I've missed anything that affects my interpretation of it.

When I heard him ask that (watched it live on YouTube), my first thought was that this must be something the club have specifically checked with Vincent as an appropriate question to ask - as Phil Bird is an employee of the club (at least on some form of basis anyway). The fact that the club is scrubbing mention of the press conference seemingly shows that not to be the case. It's a very peculiar thing to ask at this juncture, in a pre-match conference and I am shocked that Bird didn't have the foresight to think "Hang on, that's a bit weird" before going ahead and asking it.

It strikes me far more as the type of manager profiling question that might have come up during VK's initial arrival (i.e, "How proud are you to be Burnley's first black manager" might be an OK question in the context of a first interview after joining the club, littered in amongst the many others). In the context used today it's just very bizarre and I wouldn't be shocked if we start to see less of PB as a result - a shame if so, as he's clearly a bloke with a huge affinity for the club who means well. An innocent (in his own mind) set of words escaped his mouth, and he might find himself in bother for it. I have sympathy if so - but fully concur it was inappropriate in that forum.
