We've long needed a complete reset, and now seems as good a time as any, newly relegated, new manager and loads of OOC players.
Long needed? The club has just had a prolonged spell in the premier league. I would suggest an evolution, not revolution is what was needed. Everything feels high risk at present.....

Nobody knows what the exact fee was, but it's been widely reported as £10-12m, now there might be add-on's as well to bump it up.
Nobody knows but it's been reported? It must not be undisclosed then.

I would snatch your hands off to get Pope on a four year deal
So would I, but it's his age that's stopped Newcastle from paying more. Perhaps if he was better with his feet he'd have fetched more also as bigger teams may have been in for him.

If we'd have stayed up then we may have gotten more but then comes the balance of retaining players yet selling them at the right time.

Yes, it was needed but didn't happen.

Some normally level headed posters when it comes to football seem to have lost the plot lately.
