RIP Harry Gration
Don’t know how well known Harry Gration is in Lancashire but anyone living in Yorkshire will have seen him numerous times. Seemed like a fair man and certainly an avid sports fan. RIP Harry.

Ah this is really sad. An absolute broadcasting legend around these parts. Top bloke. Massive Yorkshire CCC fan. Done loads for charity too.
I work right next to BBC Centre in Leeds so have seen him a few times. RIP

Absolutely awful news. Don’t think he’s been retired that long. He was a household name here in Yorkshire on Look North. He was very supportive of all local sports in our county. From memory I think he had a young baby. Felt sorry for Amy reading the news out tonight being a previous colleague of his, understandably she was in tears. Thanks for some great memories Harry. RIP.

Sad news...you don't need to come from Yorkshire to know about Harry Gration, well respected and talented sports reporter. RIP.

Shock news. Not long retired as local BBC 'Look North' main anchor.
A we'll liked and genuine bloke.

It was Harry who interviewed Clough and Revie after Clough was sacked at Leeds

Wow! Shocked to hear this news and not long after he stepped down.
I grew up watching Harry on the local news. He always came across as a genuinely decent bloke.

You're quite right, I got 'it' and 'was' the wrong way round...I've had few...
