Right, coz the majority of us (barring one or two exceptions) have played nice and not dunked too much on old people music on the thread, you need to play nice and not criticise young people music when Kung Fu Kenny's on tomorrow, deal?

The other myth about the Beatkes is how **** Ringo was as a drummer. When you see this stuff live you see how good he actually was

What an incredible two and a half hours - wasn’t sure what to expect but it just seemed to get better and better and better as it went on.

Just awesome, just brilliant.

I've been to Glastonbury 7 times and I've never felt like it was aimed at young people in particular.
I doubt you are a teenager, and I'd hazard a guess that you are one of those "trying to be down with the kids" people that are taking offence on their behalf.

I'm biased and a self confessed Beatles fan but last nights performance was something special. I could see my life flash before me in the space of 2hours 20 mins. Still at junior school when Love me Do came out, he performed my favourite single Lady Madonna and the cherry on top for me, Maybe I'm Amazed from his first solo album post Beatles, but written whilst still one of the fab four. To cap it all he brought on one of the few who was fit to share a stage with him in Bruce Springsteen (hurry up and get those uk dates sorted Brucey). This truly was one of the great nights down at Juniors Farm.

100% agree. Folk forget that the other 3 poached him as he was the best drummer in Liverpool at that time.

I wish I had recorded it, fantastic performance throughout the set. Well done Sir Paul and all who worked to put the show together.

Went to see Macca last night. Was underwhelmed so went off to see Roisin Murphy. Walking back later, I could hear Hey Jude. Bizarrely managed to get to the front with no effort and it was absolutely amazing. Springsteen and Grohl! Then Calvin Harris at Arcadia. Living my best life!

The Springsteen appearance was very, very special and I wouldn’t class myself as a seriously huge fan of either artist. Just one of those amazing moments.

More hardcore than grunge, but then grunge was always a bit of a nebulous term for anything coming from the Seattle music scene, rather than a genre. :ugeek:

For a start I'm younger than Lamar, though not by much. I know that's probably not young by your definition, but it's not 'let's enjoy the nostalgia act', either. I'm not sure anyone is being offended to be quite honest. Not sure what your point is.
