When do Sky/BT announce which fixtures they are moving for TV coverage in the championship?

Can’t find anything on google & looking at Wigan away. Hoping it remains a 3pm on 27th August!

Was hoping they might have announced a few more from the early weeks of the season by now. Waiting to book trains for Watford watching the price go up.

Anyone any ideas on timeframe for announcements in the EFL?

Not sure, soon hopefully, but we don't need to worry about BT this year, all Football League games are exclusive to Sky Sports.

EFL site seems to suggest 5 week "minimum" which would make it 23rd of July:
https://www.efl.com/clubs-and-competitions/tv-games/

last season it was 1st of July for their entire august schedule:

That’s annoying. Could record from Quest, can’t from ITV4 and no HD to boot.

Curious as to why can’t record from ITV4, but I’d think you’ll be able to watch on catch-up via the ITV Hub

Can’t do that either, Wilks. Live in Ireland and Quest and +1 are on our sky package but ITVs are only available through “other channels” which can’t be recorded, sadly.
ITV hub and BBC iplayer are also not available unless you use a VPN and I can’t be arsed with one for what little use it would get.

What's the likely date for knowing about WBA away?
Currently September 3rd, I am presuming this is likely to be changed/covered?

Get this bookmarked.

I use this website to watch Match of the Day and the EFL Highlights show, I'm based in Thailand so it's the only way to watch it.

It's very reliable, usually available a few hours after it's been on TV live.

Is there a live stream app for the Championship?
Used to watch live Burnley Prem games on a live stream app but only now for Prem League.

Club have already stated that they will be running their own streaming service, if you're based outside the UK, you will be able to watch every game.

Otherwise your only option is illegal streaming.

Regarding televising of fixtures, the Football League seem to do it at five weeks notice until matches in March onwaards when it is reduced to four weeks.

So far

Week 1
29/7: Huddersfield v Burnley
30/7: Middlesbrough v West Brom
31/7: Sunderland v Coventry
1/8: Watford v Sheffield United

Week 2
6/8: Norwich v Wigan
8/8: West Brom v Watford

If Watford are on Live on the first 2 weekends then you wouldn't think that our away game with them the following Saturday will be moved for Sky.
Although I wouldn't bet on it!

Being selfish, we're hoping the Norwich game (10/9) is moved to a more suitable
slot to ease the rush to see Brian Cox at Leeds First Direct Arena at 19.30.

It's certainly possible as it stands, but could do without the rush if possible.

They do a full season package. That fee is for one-off games that they allow to be shown midweek domestically.

On iFollow a whole season pass is £140, Burnley are doing their own version of it, so it could be more or could be less.

Still much cheaper that a Sky Sports sub.

Reading the Accy chairman twitter feed after he has refused to have I follow, because of the splits between clubs.
It's suggested it would have to be the same rates with different platforms. I.e we would have to allow away clubs sell to their fans and keep the money.

The idea in practice is a decent one, allows more fans to see the game and clubs to make money which helps them. Problem with this is you will have plenty of people wanting these games to be available so they can stream the game for free, helping nobody but themselves.

Now updated to the end of October, we haven't been selected once.

I'd be willing to bet both Sheff Utd away and Rovers at Home are now on the box

Hard to believe they want more of Preston's goal-fest football than ours!

Is this still subject to change? I am looking at train travel to Sunderland on 22 Oct but don't want to book if they are likely to move it for TV.

This is the one I’m waiting for as we are looking at staying up there for the night

With each club needing to be on TV 4 times that could be getting the dross out of the way so the title challengers can be on a lot at the sharp end. The way we are playing and with the interest in us worldwide due to Kompany I’d expect us to be on a lot from January.

Don't believe so...
believe they're now set and therefore all our October fixtures are unaffected

naturally don't come chasing me for a refund on train travel but i am also now going to book stuff.

Furthermore on that date, sky showing Forest vs Liverpool (12:30) & Spurs vs Newcastle (5.30)
it isn't often sky show a prem game and a championship game at the same time on their own channels i think
(they sometimes do put a championship game on at the same time as a BT Prem game)

would be amazed if they've announced till the end of october and suddenly add sunderland
also wonder if the sky championship "12:30 pick saturday" that weekend is actually Swansea vs Cardiff but moved due to police to the sunday
