I have never been via this airport.
Was wondering if any of you had recently? Queuing, airport size compared to other London based ones?
Thanks in advance UTC

Re: Birmingham Airport
Two weeks ago, 9 am flight, got there at 6am and a huge queue but, but it was moving all the time with lots of staff and police helping out.
30 minutes from the back of the mahoosive queue to departures which is excellent going.
Get there in plenty of time and you'll be fine. As someone said on another thread, the worst bit is trying to get fed and watered but, again, the Spoons had it sorted.
Where are you off to?

Re: Birmingham Airport
Expect to queue half a mile for security and wait an hour coming back in if you're not using the E passport gates.
(i'm not joking)
Heathrow T3 a few months ago was a doddle.

Re: Birmingham Airport
Thanks for your reply. I’m going to Almeira in Spain. I’m based in Cambridge. So tend to use Stanstead or Luton normally.
Airport options were Gatwick or Birmingham
Like I say never been via Brum before.
I have a habit of running in to former players, whilst on holiday. Andrew Cole, Madrid 2017, Andy Gray, Funniest was Ashley Barney in Ibizia2017 I believe ?
Mind you, not as glamorous as Ian Measham in Great Yarmouth, and Adrian Randall in Blackpool.

Re: Birmingham Airport
You can usually park quite cheaply at the car parks there. Also hotel stays with holiday parking included

Re: Birmingham Airport
The queue for Greggs is usually bigger than the queue for check-in.
