TV highlights coverage of the Championship
On ITV4 this season at 9 pm on Saturday night and fronted by Hugh Woozencroft and Jules Breach
Re: TV highlights coverage of the Championship
Let’s hope I’m watching it more than I watched Match of The Day last season. In fact I’m quite looking forward to watching Match of The Day again on a regular basis.

They should have employed Colin Murray, he was great on Quest's EFL show.

That remark really made me giggle,I had visions of DD sat in his armchair and lifting his head up from his iPad and saying to his wife " he's made them names up"...... DD's wife shakes her head in disbelief and remarks "your on that Up the Clarets again arnt ya"...as she swiftly returns to knitting Dave's new claret & blue underpants.

Re: TV highlights coverage of the Championship
Is there time for a late line up change ?
I'm told Barbara Orvieni from Italian TV has an encyclopedic knowledge of the Championship, including the three promoted Clubs and the three who dropped from the Premiership. It seems she has a FIFA " A " license, knows her tactics and speaks well. This is from my fellow Claret in Florence ... I'm not sure what else, if anything, she can bring to the table ...

I thought the Football League was done with ITV after the ITV Digital fiasco, hope the contract is signed this time!ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 8:10 pmOn ITV4 this season at 9 pm on Saturday night and fronted by Hugh Woozencroft and Jules Breach
Well if we lose I'll stay up and watch the Sweeney/Professionals, oh someone is going to tell me that's ITV 3
Re: TV highlights coverage of the Championship
At least I'll be watching MOTD next season. I never fancied watching it if we lost. And if this starts at 9pm then it might finish just as MOTD is starting.

A bit off topic but, I don't suppose you've heard anything about video streaming for overseas fans?
I know most clubs offer this service but not seen anything official from the club yet.
The Championship has absolutely no broadcast coverage in the country I live, so I am hopeful Burnley will be doing it.

Re: TV highlights coverage of the Championship
The EFL now have an ifollow service which allows you to stream every game online, apart from the games which have been selected to TV broadcast, I believe there is a charge for it, but the info can be found on the site https://www.efl.com/ifollow/UpTheClaretsFCBK wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 10:21 amHi Tony,

Yes, I am aware of that but not all clubs take part in it. I believe its upto them whether they do or not.claretburns wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 10:31 amThe EFL now have an ifollow service which allows you to stream every game online, apart from the games which have been selected to TV broadcast, I believe there is a charge for it, but the info can be found on the site https://www.efl.com/ifollow/

We don’t use ifollow but I’m sure I’ve read that we are going to offer something that provides the same service.UpTheClaretsFCBK wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 10:55 amYes, I am aware of that but not all clubs take part in it. I believe its upto them whether they do or not.

Oh that’s good. Surely better than the football league show we used to have to watch with Steve Claridge.

Completely agree JDM. It's abhorrent. Engaging in polite discussion on similar themes on here has recently seen posts deleted. Not sure how we're supoosed to support progress in these areas with such an approach.JohnDearyMe wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 11:33 amAlways depressing to see the casual misogyny from some people on here whenever there's mention of a woman
