Pierre Littbarski or Dominique Rocheteau though I never had as bad a haircut as either.

Bremner. Not my choice but the sobriquet used by my younger brother; he called our older brother Hunter.
Our kid was the only one of us who could play football well and he was seriously good, a gift he put down to 'having grown up playing with two older brothers that'd have broken my bloody legs if I hadn't been.'

One of many of Billy's endearing qualities is that when he talks about Burnley he refers to them as 'us' and 'we'. Still very fond of his first club despite being a staunch Everton Ian.

Brian O'Neil, with the cuffs of my long sleeve Burnley replica shirt pulled down and held in to the palms of my hands with my fingers like he did. I even imitated his walk and sometimes his tackles which didn't go down too well with my playing mates. That's a long time ago circa 1965.

The ritual for me was:

Burnley
DL
1st pen.

Have to confess admiring Dennis Law most and believed it was only a matter of time before he saw sense and signed for the clarets (the naivety of youth), and naturally I wanted to take the 1st penalty. Happy days.

They used to call me the Peart Street Alan Stevenson (in my mind). Giant, those Corporation walls, easy to keep a clean sheet 🤣🤣🤣
