That's a hell of a win, they were struggling early on.

They just kept at it and it was a good game to watch with 25 attempts on goal, 13 of which were on target and both keepers made some excellent saves.
Some of the 37 fouls were marginal, however, the referee was consistent and cautioned 10 players.
Great to reach a final at whatever level, good luck in the final.

Well done to England's youngsters, bodes well for yet another generation breaking into the senior squad over the next few years.

They now play Israel in the final on Friday.
Israel unexpectedly beat France tonight 2-1 in a very workmanlike performance, some very good defending and aided by some poor finishing from the French.

7pm kick off tonight. I think it's on the red button and BBC player.

Yep it's on the IPlayer, I'll give it a look when the test match finishes, might see Delap in action, who could well be a Claret soon.

It's crazy isn't it? We have the best squad of players since before 1990 and we're now getting another crop of players coming through who will be challenging for the first eleven in 2 years time.

Competition for places is never a bad thing, the challenge for Southgate, or whoever is in charge then is finding a winning formula with all this talent at their disposal.

Israel edging the first 25 minutes, England haven't got going as an attacking force yet.

As far as I'm concerned with England and as Rocky would say - attack, attack, attack!

We have the best England attacking players to choose from in well over 40 years.

Is any player standing out for England?

Great goal. We’ll deserved. For a small nation they’re absolutely bossing it. But maybe it’s down to the wind according to the comms?!

Not really no, Israel aren't allowing them into the game, and are controlling the midfield.

I'd sign that Gloch lad up though he can certainly play, and took his goal expertly.

ET but much better from England 2nd half, and they're looking the most likely right now, the subs have definitely made a difference since they've came on.

There's like 3 players from this current team that gets into the 2004 side on paper.
