Norrie through to the quarters in straight sets, where he'll face David Goffin, who came through an epic 5 setter earlier.

Norrie vs Goffin

One guess who’ll I be supporting 😜

Norrie favorite but on his day (and injury free) Goffin can beat nearly anyone (Nadal & Djokovic excepted)

Possibly, he is the 4th leg of my 5 timer and only stuck him in the bet as it gave me a 30% bonus on my winnings so I fully expect him to get it back to 2-2 then fail

Djokovic and Nadal are so good that even when they go two sets down you fully expect them to win.

Norrie match going down to the wire, 5-4 in the 5th, and too close to call.

Norrie serving to stay in the match though.

Wow! that finished quickly didn't it, I was reading about WW going to Turkey, and when I looked back it was all over.

2 fantastic 5 set matches today.

Norrie-Novak in the last 4.

Been spoiled for me this year by so many atrocious bounces of the lines. They usually affect the ball but I’ve never seen so many air shots because of it.
After the first couple of days I thought they need to change back to whatever mix they used before but it never happened.

Djokovic takes the 2nd, but Norrie is showing no signs of nerves in the biggest match of his career, and he's right in this contest.

Alfie Hewitt also through to the men's wheelchair singles final.

Duke of Wellington, I believe. If Bernard Manning told it (I wouldn't know, perhaps he was more your type of comedian?) then he nicked it like I did.

Well, he lost, so he's definitely not British.

Andy Murray was though, except for when he lost, then he was just a Scot.

The big difference is John McEnroe won slams 17 in total. including 7 singles titles.

Kyrgios is just a spoilt brat who may well never win a slam.

Kyrgios is an ars****e. A fit Rafa would probably have despatched him in their semi, so he would still be waiting to grace the court for a Grand Slam final. Take the big booming serve away from him, he’s nothing more than an average to better Tour player. If I never watched him again, I wouldn’t be that bothered.

Hes got ability no doubt its just his petulant behaviour lets him down moaning every single point when its so clear he lost it and then on the other hand some close calls he never contested as to busy mouthing off at umpires and the crowd ...the bloke is disturbed and needs help that behaviour is not normal
