Crawley gets out of jail there after the soft signal being out. Hopefully he can push on and make the best of the second opportunity.

You’d think Kohli would rein it in with his consistently shocking batting performances, yet he still remains a classless p***k.

We were 100 for none, so I popped out to get my hair cut. I come back and we’re three wickets down.

Going really well since tea isn't it, doesn't help getting your set batsman stupidly run out.

Another shocking review by India, but if they want to waste them more fool them.

Taken full advantage of the free tickets on sale to get one for tomorrow. Poor from Sky to say it’s from 5pm and pretty much every ticket has already gone.

India waste another review on Root.

There have been six lbw reviews against Joe Root by opposition captains this summer and they have all been unsuccessful.

This could really hurt a side one day. as it did the Aussies back in 2019 at Headingley.

Could still yet go either way but England favourites now- especially so if they can weather the first hour tomorrow without too much damage.

Because of the scoring rate, it looks like the new ball might well be too late to swing things India's way. By the time that comes England may could easily be within 40-50 of the required total.

Fingers crossed for these two to keep galloping along very entertainingly but there may be a twist or two still to come- been so many ups & downs in tests this summer (a lot of ups for England when it mattered though).

An amazing days cricket by England, it looked bleak this morning, but they swiftly mopped up India's tail, and then the openers set the tone, a brief hiccup post tea, but then who else but Bairstow and Root to ease any nerves.

If they do complete the victory tomorrow it would be England's highest ever 4th innings successful chase, beating the 359 they made only 3 years ago at Headingley.

And chasing totals of 300+ is becoming increasingly common in the game now amongst all countries, long gone are the days of simply batting out to a tame draw.

Why is it only Yorkshire folk who do this? I’ve not seen people across the internet going… good bowling by England (Durham) this afternoon… weird folk.

Sounds like it might not have been so superb and friendly for some Indian fans who were reportedly subjected to racism at todays match

Kohli reportedly abusing Lees and Bairstow during Monday’s play. But obviously that’s not racism.

What did Kohli say because if Kohli racially abused Lees and Bairstow he should be suspended from the game? I did have a quick look and Bairstow's view seems to be they were just having a bit of craic but if there's more to it than that please do tell.

It's becoming ridiculous how often the balls are being changed now.

And yet another delay to proceedings, no wonder over rates are so shambolic this summer.

9th ball change of this test alone.

300 up anyway.

28th test 100 for Root, and the way he's going he'll soon pass Cook's 33 tons.
