Somehow I think this will be virtually unanimous.

I don’t think the poll gets interesting until we get to left back and then midfield. I’m pretty sure I know who the two central defenders will be, the keeper was obvious and the right back even more so.

Opted for Lowton myself, mainly because he's made nearly 160 PL appearances, and played a pivotal role in our 7th placed season.

Yep my thinking also.
Tripp's was great for us but for longevity got to go for Lowton.

Good points re Lowton, if Trippier wasn't so good it would be a walk over for Lowton.

I see the Jensen voters have brought their highly amusing comedy routine to this vote too

I did.

He was player of the year for us that year.

The Imp of the Perverse is always there but the joke isn't funny and it detracts from the website we all know and enjoy.

Most people are clever enough to realise this though.

I take the point about Lowtons longevity, but it's about "the best".
So its got to be Tripps all the way.

Him leading the celebrations in front of the fans at Deadwood after the win there is another reason. 8-)

He wasn't player of the year

It isn't - the vote is about Premier League

Him time-wasting on the last game of the season, as Burnley were getting relegated wiped out all the good memories of him for me.

Peak obviously Trippier but he was only here for one season in the Prem so I went with Lowton.

I voted for Trippier but I thought Mears was excellent until Coyle left.

If we are picking the best player to play right back for Burnley, during our years in the Premier League, it surely has to be Trippier.

None of the other options come close.

I think it's who played the best for Burnley. Not who has the best career.

Otherwise a few on here won't like the fact they might have to vote for a certain Dutch international who is about to leave us.

Aye I get that - and simply based on his performances for us, he’s head and shoulders above any of the others, for me. Not in terms of longevity or the position that we found ourselves in, but the best right back to play for Burnley in the PL.

I can remember great performances from Trippier in the championship, but not in the Premier league.
I'm sure he had them, but it's strange what you remember.
