Adrian Serioux/Connor Roberts

Post by ArthurShelby » Mon Jul 04, 2022 5:54 pm

Just reading the players you misjudged thread and somebody mentioned Matty O Neil who played for us a who had a good throw on him and then I remembered something iv never really thought about since.

Anyone remember the black fella for Millwall Adrian Serioux ? I remember a night game at the Turf and he could reach the opposition box from the half way line, he had a monster throw. Made Delaps look like nothing ! Can anyone else remember ?

Also whilst on the topic of long throws, how bad are the ones from Roberts ? He can’t chuck it far enough for it to be effective, absolutely wasted every throw he took last season I hope it stops under VK.

He certainly appears to throw it farther for Wales than he does for us. It won’t matter when Wengers’ kick ins come into the game.
How many bad ideas does that fella need to come up with to justify his salary?

Sure he was about three yards over the line every time he threw it, Serioux.

Anyone remember us playing Stafford Rangers in the cup years ago? Well they had a player that did something akin to a forward roll before he threw his massive throw. I remember seeing a short report on him before we played them. Think he only had chance to do it once when we played them and whilst bizarre it wasn't that impressive.

Matty O'Neil with the bleach blonde hair was good at doing stepovers, he'd watched too much Cristiano Ronaldo.
