Seems odd. What would stop adults buying a concession ticket?
Only curious as I got a u17 ticket and they can no longer go, but if an adult is able to use it then I can find somebody to use it
Nothing but when you buy the ticket you wouldn't know if the Club are going to mark it or not.
If it makes you feel better we haven't yet received ours either.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 12:22 pm12 tickets ordered, none arrived
What time can you go the ground for a re print as I won't be doing it at half 2 on the day of the match
We can’t send them out if we haven’t received them from the home teamlakedistrictclaret wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 3:28 pmNo sign of mine yet.
In the good old days they used to arrive within two days of ordering online. Why is it different now?
I get the impression one staff does the posting on the Monday/Tuesday of the game.
You couldnt' select "collect", the only option was "Post". I purchased mine on day one and today I've had to go down to the ticket office to collect them because I need to distribute them tomorrow and they had not been posted out. Same with the Shrewsbury tickets that I'll need in any case in four days time.
Whatever improvements they've brought, this very definitely isn't one of them.JR1882 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 1:45 pmI went to collect mine last week as I’m away until the game. Waited ages for someone to come out, fella behind me was waiting about 10 mins to see someone whilst a girl was walking around eating and ignoring him. For all the improvement in operations ALK have brought this isn’t one.

Total contrast with Lancashire County Cricket Club, whose ticket office is quick and efficient.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 4:01 pmWhatever improvements they've brought, this very definitely isn't one of them.
My experience too on a recent visit to the ticket office, I'm afraid.JR1882 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 1:45 pmI went to collect mine last week as I’m away until the game. So did I. Ticket Office yesterday told me to expect them "in the next couple of days". Can't get through to them now. Will call in before the match tomorrow because I need to leave home before the post comes.
My mistake then.
If a family of four have ordered different age categories but there's no indication on the tickets which is which. Then there will be chaos if turnstile operators stop people coming in.2 Bee Holed wrote: ↑Sun Aug 21, 2022 5:21 pmMy mistake then.
I'd assumed with the ticket having a qr code on it, that it was going to be scanned.
Therefore I'd expected it to tell the turnstile operator ( assuming it's manned)
Which price band the ticket was.
The bar code doesn't carry category information.2 Bee Holed wrote: ↑Sun Aug 21, 2022 5:21 pmMy mistake then.

Huddersfield was the same - all tickets were the same so it doesn’t matter who uses which tickets.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Sun Aug 21, 2022 5:27 pmIf a family of four have ordered different age categories but there's no indication on the tickets which is which. That really does beggar beliefClaretforever wrote: ↑Sun Aug 21, 2022 8:00 pmAlso, why couldn’t they just give me my ticket when I went down and paid for it?
The club probably hadn't received the tickets when he paid, just like thay hadn't got them when we paid online.
Ticket still not arrived...1989_claret wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 10:09 pmReceived one order out of two but not the other. The order I received was made on the Wednesday whereas the tickets purchased on the Monday (first day of sales) haven’t arrived yet!
Can’t be a mix up of addresses either as the ones I’ve received aren’t my tickets but I had them be delivered to me.
Exactly what happened at Watford, not hundreds, but the biggest queue ive ever seen of burnley fans having to pick up away tickets.lakedistrictclaret wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 3:11 pmI've just received an e-mail from the ticket office saying the last lot of tickets were sent out at the back end of last week.
Mine still hasn't arrived.
They suggest contacting them on Thursday if it still hasn't arrived, to arrange reprint and collection at Wigan. This is despite me telling them in my e-mail that I was leaving very early on Thursday morning to go to the Old Trafford Test and would be going straight on to Wigan.
What are the ticket office staff at Wigan going to think if hundreds of Clarets turn up on Saturday for reprints? They're going to think we're tinpot.
Honestly, someone needs to go into our ticket office and give it a good shake-up.

Still don't know what happened, but at least me and my lad still have the same seats and I'm looking forward to my first game v Millwall next weekJR1882 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 5:01 pmSame Lancaster - got my lad and his mate their own tickets this year, didn’t work. Went to the office last week and they said “oh yeah someone will have just bought the seat before you bought the season ticket”. A heads up would have been nice, but that’s way too much to ask from that operation at present.
The very same thing happened to me with the Shrewsbury preseason tickets. Ordered 2..got 1. To be fair I got through on the phone and was told they would be reprinted and to pick up from Shrewsbury..which was easy enough as it wasnt too busy and they have a dedicated office at the away end.Jimmymaccer wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 2:59 pmI ordered 2 adults - got email confirmation with me as “lead customer”………
Envelope landed - just 1 ticket in it.
No answer on phone to ticket office.
Because I wouldn’t trust the club to send the correct details of who has bought which QR code generated over to the home team stadium. And then you still have to hope that the team we’re playing against even has a QR system in place to use it.
