Be good to hear Lewis gets a full game in, along with the winner.

Re: Burnley v Charlton - U21 updates
This is likely to be my last u21 game. Burnley have decided we should all pay for the privilege and there is not even a concession price for seniors.
I’ve been a season ticket holder since 1961 and this is the first time I’ve ever had to pay for what in effect is a reserve team game.

Sad to read that Tony, what a way to discourage folk from watching the U21s/reservesClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 1:32 pmThis is likely to be my last u21 game. Burnley have decided we should all pay for the privilege and there is not even a concession price for seniors.

For everything that is positive about the club that is one unfathomable decision

Is it us, or the hosts who have brought this in?
Might be worth finding that out first.

I would imagine it is the insanely greedy LFA that are charging fans - rather than BFC.
The sooner we (as a club) stop using their facilities, the better.

If we hire their facilities, how can they charge?ClaretInLeeds wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 2:06 pmI would imagine it is the insanely greedy LFA that are charging fans - rather than BFC.

I’ve been informed by someone from the LFA that we have opted to pay the lesser charge and allowed them to charge. I’m trying to find out some details.ClaretInLeeds wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 2:06 pmI would imagine it is the insanely greedy LFA that are charging fans - rather than BFC.

Hopefully Kompany gets him on the bench at Watford
Re: Burnley v Charlton - U21 updates
Costelloe certainly has been putting 100% effort in the last 2 games, but I thought Richardson was the better of the two, so possibly still getting his fitness levels up after a long lay off may be? CT does he seem to be showing as good as he was before the injury?
Re: Burnley v Charlton - U21 updates
Are they playing a similar style/formation to the 1st team and is Jackson managing?

Unless both are injured, looks like Ben Woods and Jake Rooney turned down their extensions and have left?

what's the admission price?
Re: Burnley v Charlton - U21 updates
Jake Rooney captained Derby's U21s in their PL2 opener on Friday, so seems pretty certain he's gone.burnleytom wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 2:47 pmUnless both are injured, looks like Ben Woods and Jake Rooney turned down their extensions and have left?

I’ve been a season ticket holder since 1961 and this is the first time I’ve ever had to pay for what in effect is a reserve team game.

Doesn't look like anyone I can spot who was released from any Cat1 U18 or U21 side from a quick look through.

I wondered if they might be involved today but there was no sign of players such as Armstrong, Dodgson & Tucker either.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 4:00 pmDo we know if the other young lads signed for the first team are getting any game time?

Not a very encouraging start for team or supporters. All very negative except Richardson !

If you want to watch players of that calibre you have to pay an extra premium.
