Looked like some Luton fans ran over when they scored and it didn’t even reach handbags . As for Lancs live😂 is there a more click bait led site than this industrial grade drivel ? Just now it has a choice of “ Turkish hair transplants “ and 70’s stars who you won’t believe how they now look “…

It just looked like the usual goading of rash other, and the issue happened when Luton scored and a loaf of their fans ran over to the dividing fence to lean as far over as they could. Burnley fans didn’t back off and that’s the whole story I think.
So a non story then basically

It's usually gobsh1te teenagers these days anyway who turn into Cass Pennant after two pints (as long as they're stood behind a line of stewards)

Some funny stuff on this thread. Disputes on how many miles away Vegas is, Big Cha Cha’s rags to riches story and how he now wants to price out the plebs. Perceived Stone Island Burnley yobbos to blame for any aggro.
In reality what happened was that Luton got that early goal and poor stewarding enabled many of their fans to rush towards the Burnley fans to goad them.
As someone pointed out earlier, they had only sold just over 50% of their tickets so it would have been easy to create a no man’s land of several yards to avoid situations like this happening.

That’s a fair summary handbags at best but a handful of people are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill laughable really.

From what I saw:

The usual small number of fans from both sides giving it to each other across the barrier after full time (why away fans are able to use the stairway directly next to the home end when they sold around half the tickets is a bit silly and has been the case for as long as I have sat in there).

At one point one lad from our side and one from theirs got pretty close to each other and one possibly went to grab the other. If it was an attempt at a punch it was a pretty dire attempt.

The amount of 15 year olds that then ran over like seagulls flocking to a cone of chips was far more dramatic than the initial altercation.

In fairness to the stewards they responded quickly, and to the disappointment of the gull chicks, it was over as quickly as it began.

Was thinking why not have a temporary fence just move it over a section , sort two sections in the CFS for away fans .
Sure if like Luton they would be in the far section and away from the home fans , now would not work for bigger clubs when they visit be it would be a start .

I said this at the beginning of the thread, it seems like a cut and dried part of our safety officers role.

We could give Cardiff a call and see if they still have the big sheet from Ninian Park

Why do our own fans always pressume that it is ours that start any trouble?
Well, i might suggest there is one common denominator when i comes to trouble between us and fans of several different clubs......

It needs a big fence putting up, or netting at the very least

WSC magazine is reporting that WHU have put one such barrier up at their ground. The only place I can find a picture is Daily Star (not my usual source of info- honest ;) ) https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/footb ... m-27689486

Have you read the comments? there was no trouble, nothing that isn't seen at pretty much every ground up and down the country. The point is that our own fans are always quick to blame our own.

Yes, there are incidents at many grounds. However as someone who sits in the area next to the away fans we have more than enough idiots to go round. I just don’t understand why many of these young lads want to spend the whole game goading and swearing at the away fans, and many of which don’t even try and watch the game. So yes, we do have a problem with idiots

I'm not disputing that we have an element of our fan base who like to provoke the away fans, as the away fans alsomore often than not like to do the same, What I am saying is that to lay the whole blame at the feet of our fans and start calling them names, when nothing of any significance happened is out of line in my eye's.

Any way, enjoy the game tonight. I am hoping for a 2-1 win
