In St Annes for the airshow at the weekend from Friday and want to watch the game v Watford
if at all possible.

Anyone know of a decent pub that will have it on where I can also take my partner ?
If it has food on, even better.

Failing that, I'll ask at the Hotel.

All offers greatly received.

Not sure about St Annes but the Station in Lytham has a big screen and always has football on.

Try the Lord Derby near the pier and the Town House next to the station they both have multi screen footy on.

The County in Lytham is probably your best bet. Plenty of screens and food pretty decent

Number Fifteen in St Anne’s Square always had the footy on when I lived in the town, but that’s eight years ago now so can’t vouch for it. St Anne’s has never been blessed with an array of good pubs, as others have said you might be better off heading down into Lytham.

If you have time Spago for food is very good

Thanks for all your advice, which is greatly appreciated.

Here's hoping for a good performance and, hopefully, 3 points.

Martin, did you used to work at the pool there? I remember meeting a fellow Claret called Martin but that would have been back in around 2006

No, never worked in a pool. Lots of clarets on the Fylde coast, I was always bumping into them.

The County in Lytham it is then. Checked it out, plenty of screens, 3 boxes so no problem viewing and the food is very good we've been reliably informed.

Thanks for all your help and see you at 8 o'clock.

Chu’s Chinese restaurant opposite The County is the best in the North. IMHO
