There's no evidence Cornet refused to play in the Championship whilst under contract here.
No but there is evidence that he wasn’t included in any squad and then playing for West Ham the week after - leading to the conclusion that it wasn’t fitness.
Could be us wrapping him in cotton wool or him saying he wasn’t in the right frame of mind. Compare this to Watford where Sarr and Dennis were in the shop window playing.
Weghorst biggest mistake was being too honest in a interview. He didn’t say anything wrong or that bad. It’s why most footballers come out with generic nonsense whilst still playing.

what are you attempting to illustrate with that? it's an iPad or computer - clue is the black geometric shape to the right - being the lid

Wasn’t trying to illustrate anything. Some comments were stating iPad, some matchday program. All I posted was a photo buddy.

Other than the fact he wasn't involved in the game that he was still here and under contract for you're right. Just because he didn't do an interview saying he wouldn't play doesn't mean he wouldn't.

I think it was more likely the club refused to play Cornet to avoid potential injury

You think that, I know he told the club he wouldn't play in the Championship.

Shhh that doesn't fit peoples agenda. Cornet is the good guy and Weghorst is bad.

Weghorst could play football with the ball at his feet link up play was good but when your team gets 30% of possession it’s difficult with limited opportunity’s .
Was not quick enough for the prem but neither is Wood
has he knows now.

Scored tonight for Besiktas who are currently sitting top of the league.
Big difference when the team doesn’t play hot potato Hoofball.

And tell me how that explains him missing two chances in his first home game against Liverpool when put clean through by superb passes?

Even more remarkably, he scored with his head !!
Given that Besiktas, like Spurs & Everton, will eventually realise that Dellie Allie is a " busted flush ", they'll need to try to save some money somewhere. Let's hope we tell them to " do one " ...

He's doing well and keeping up his chances of being in the national team up. Shame really if he moves on permanently because he'd suit our system right.

Nothing confirmed but I’ve seen some unverified reports suggesting the pitch invader was Connor Roberts.

Tbf comparing the Turkish league not only to the prem but Bestikas’s finances compared to the opposition vs ours is a bit silly . I’ve no doubt WW can play ,his Bunds stats prove that , but for such a prolific scorer was very odd nobody big ever came for him during his career . Perhaps he needs a whole team playing around him ?

Typical BS from the star. You can clearly see Wout bottom right of the pic nowhere near the drop kick or the fracas.

Typical modern “journalism” I think would be more accurate. They have clearly read a tweet and taken it as fact and reported on it without any due diligence. It’s no wonder so many people are misled with rubbish by the press these days, so easy to manipulate the populace.

QFT
Yup, that’s why I wasn’t particularly bothered - at least he was honest
